Again an excellent post. I'd go regardless of who we were playing. I really cant get excited about us seeing playing Man U and Chelsea. It really doesn't interst me. I go to see Saints

Far from it. I expect us to go up. Just I'm not overly fussed about doing it.

To be fair he's got a point, we do seem to be always the bridesmaid. Last season we should have walked league one, we didn't. Weve had chances all season to put daylight between us and the lack we haven't. We've got a history of runners up in cup finals apart from one as a huge underdog. The only time we seem to win big games when there is a lot of stake is In a relegation battles.

For some people it is, because as per our attendances since Relegion in 2005 a lot of fans only go based on who we are playing. For some of though that doesn't matter as we go to watch Saints and hopefully see us win. I can honestly say I'm in a weird place right now, I want Saints to win every game but I also m not fussed about being part of the Sky dream and being "plucky old Southampton, look t their fans, loving life in the premier league" which we would get for the first couple of season.

In the final we were 0-2 down, got it back to 2-2 nod extra time then lot 3-2. Im pretty sure we also beat also best West Ham on the way as well, plus Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
