and it would have been less if we hadn't beaten Norwich, MK Dons & Bristol Rovers away and Leeds, Huddersfield and Charlton at home.

Why were so many of our "best first XI" in the league missing ?

Spot on. -
Are you for real?!! 99% of people on here agree, you included that we need a couple of extra players, but to say we lack depth is ridiculous. At the back we have two good players for each positon. We have three of the best strikers in the league and in midfield we have 4 quality players who would walk into every team in this league and half of the teams in the league above. yes we need a CM and RM to complete the squad, we lack depth on one area, everywhere else is as strong as you could wish for. Do you or do you not agree that the first XI is better today than the first XI which finished last season?
-
Did you notice the stunned shock that went round the ground when he came on, guy next to me said 'oh he is still alive then'
-
That i do agree with you on, i expect them both, especially Fonte to be 10/10 every game so i am surprised at every lost header or misplaced pass. Harsh really but shows how highly rated they are.
-
The author of this thread for one, who clearly did not go today. The midfield did not 'look weak' at all. With only one of our first choice 4 starting in midfield they did well against a midtable side the league above.
-
See again i don tthink he was, i think a lot of is it 'because its Wotton' he did okay today, 6 out of 10, not spectacular but did a job, which is what you get from him, you obviously missed his 50 yard pass to feet from inside his own half out to Mills in the first half then? If Schniderlin had done that a lot would be w*nking over it.
-
No problem with the current squad size, yet claim it lacks depth? Contradiction if ever i heard one. What is your take on the signings of Richardson and Butterfield? Undoubtedly two better right backs than what we had last season. All we hear from you is a prophecy of doom, i honestly just think you are a wind up merchant, you sometimes raise valid points and everyone agrees that we need a wide player and cover in CM but your constant negativity leads me to believe that you just enjoy winding people up on here.
-
I didn't think they were, jaidi had a few heavy touches early on but i generally felt they looked pretty solid with Fonte looking a class above any other Centre Half on the pitch. Where was Seabourne? He has hardly figured preseason with AP prefering Martin over him, i'd have though Seabourne would have got at least 30 mins today. I didn't mention Butterfield in my earlier comments but he looked solid and decent, much better than what we had all of last season at RB.

You're right, he only posts when we lose, he enjoys it.

So where is she now?

That's the thing, he doesn't know what he is talking about and relys on third hand accounts, Only an idiot that was there today could not agree that without 4 Key players, we were as good as, if not better than Reading. -
about 8k i'd say. How was your bike ride? Obviously not the ending you planned seeing as you are on here.
-
and dont rely on internet posts and third hand reports, what was your take on today? I felt that for the first hour we were more than match for Reading, Barnard was a big plus for me he looked busy and a constant threat, his finish was class and showed a passion to win which we wil need. Enjoyed the way he bollocked Harding for a meaningless high ball, quite clear what he was saying. Jaidi and Fonte looked solid, i though Wotton and Hammond did well and Dickson did well wide left. Connolly looked a little rusty but you could see his movement was still first class. After their equlizer the subs came and its clear that the kids that were brought on aren't up to it, yet, but a saints team minus 4 of our best players, ie Schniderlin, Lambert, Puncheon and Lallana were as good as Reading, who IMO will finish top half of the CCC. I am sure some willl enjoy us losing today, the usual suspects, but the difference between the sides for the first hour, before subs, was paper thin.

He wasn't watching the game he doesn't go to games. he relys on third hand posts and internet reports then lamblasts the team for what he thinks happened. -
And some people are suing because this event wasn't as advertised.
-
why? What evidence do you have that suggests that AP doesn't know what he is doing?
-
it'd be great for crosses into the box, he could flop it out and use it instead of a diving header.
-
cant we get him to do a Desailly and switch nationalities? It'd show his commitment to us if nothing else.

All is not lost DBP!! I have found this little site for you where people like you, you know, fat, useless losers, can find likeminded people to eat cream cakes with. You never know, you might even get to empty your sack into one of these little beauties, provided your c*ck is long enough to battle through the layers of fat covering their m*nge. Happy pulling pal. http://www.largefriends.com/

i've been longing for us to sign a player called Emmanuel so we can sing the song... "he's french, he's quick, his names a porno flick, Emmanuel, emmanuel" Although this guy is Ghanian, FFS, ruins the song, might have to swap French with black or something else that fits.

You are seriously going to this length over £60? why? Surely this is a wind up.
-
What is the basis of your legal action? That you paid £10 to go to a pre match party and it was sh*t? Are you seriously going to all this trouble sueing the trust because they threw a sh*t party? I didn't go to Silverspoons, didn't fancy it because i felt it might be a big let down, too many barmies, too women. What is your legal argument?

I dont think it was deliberate though fella, Everton did the same thing for thier cup final and it all went well, it may have been a **** gig for you but to say they deliberatly fleeced saints fans is wrong.
