Now where did i suggest that? Yep, bailey has escaped because Pardew is 'not interested' or maybe its because he wants to play in the premier league and feels 'boro will get their quicker than us? Believe it or not, not every player is falling over themselves to join league One Southampton.
-
Do we have RM problems then? Puncheon and Lallana can play there, i wouldn't call it a problem area, unlike right back. As for Brandy, Pace, hit and miss, sounds very much like Pap Waigo then? never seen him play or heard of him to be honest, but unpredicatabiltiy and pace are two big things to have in your locker.

It isn't just due to their hair colour, ginges have that nasty red skin complexion too which means they burn in the sun as quickly as a an albino on a sunbed, dim wit.

anyone heard anymore about Alepienapktofcrispspls coming to SMS?
Turkish replied to theyin's topic in The Saints
That is absolutely the most important piece of news that we are all waiting on. By the way, can we campaign that the club open the kiosks after games as well, i think it is 'outrageous' that they close them. that way i can have a beer and a pie before the game, a beer and a burger at half time and a beer and a hot dog after or if i am feel particularly crazy can mix it up a bit and swap them round to keep my game going friends guessing just what i am going to stuff down my face first. Moaning for 90 minutes is hungry work you know. -
People on the old saints forever moaned about Strachan when he was here, not good enough tatically, favourites for players like Telfer and WIlliams, didn't make substiutions early enough, after a couple of goalless home games, 0-0 at home hwen we were 6th people were up in arms about his negative defensive tactics, some people will moan regardless even if Mourinio was manager and we won every game 10-0.

How long before an Asian or African team win the world cup?
Turkish posted a topic in General Sports
The gap is getting smaller and smaller between the top European and South American sides and the africans and asians. Japan ran Holland close and we've seen South Korea in he semi a few years back. Whilst the likes of Brazil, Argentina, Germany, Italy etc will always be strong, i wouldn't mind betting its not to many years before we see a winner from one of these contients. -
two strikers is Conolly doesn't renew, a central midfielder as well.
-
granted he is ugly.
-
have you ever seen him play?
-
Ben Burgess, good cover for RL, Jamie Butterfield, Stephen CAldwell, Aaron davies, Salif Diao, Amdy Faye, Warren Feeney, Steve Finnan, Marlon Harewood, CLint Hill, Jon Macken, could all DAJFU.
-
Good to see our 'world class players' playing so well yet again in a tournement smirking saint, as they have done on so many occasons according to you, must be that manager again.
-
God i cant believe they are saying its Capellos fault for making the players tense, they were sh*te under McClaren, Shi*e under Erikson, sh*te inder Keegan and no better than average under Hoddle. Its not the bloody manager its the arrogant, over rated players.
-
and the positives are?? have looked like scoring at all? This is Algeria we are playing, one goal in 6 games, not SPain or Brazil. Too slow, too predictable, too one dimensional, still at least our 'world class players' have shown up. Only decent player have been Barry.
-
that first half was utter gash.
-
yep, and Lampards first touch was ****e, oh but its the ball, funny how the ALgerians who have only scored one penalty in six games dont have a problem controling it.
-
Oh he is playing, he just missed a sitter.
-
I'm sure as Nicky Bailey is signing his £10k per week contract and his £150k signing on fee at Middlesboro i'm sure he'll quote the reason why he never joined Southampton as all their fans are bigots as they hate gingers' FFS people need to lighten up. Anyway, what are you doing on a football forum, haven't you got any animal rights marches or trees to hug?
-
Awful, really awful. How Lampard keeps being picked is beyond me, when was the last time he had a good game for England?
-
What he said, kind of 4-1-4-1 when attacking, 4-5-1 when defending.
-
Well done, only took you three attempts to get the post right. What is abusive about calling him a ginge? he is. What is abusive about saying everyone was wetting themselves over him? they were. They should put a cavet that if you ar over sensitive or a sense of humour deficency you are not welcomed either.
-
Yeah we have only signed the best young full back in the lower leagues, its been rubbish.
-
Because real football isn't like football manager where you make a bid one day and the player signs the next. Real people go on holiday during their their time off, have lives, contracts to neogtiate etc. Notts Forest, Boro, West Brom and Norwich were also linked with him, clubs from the leagues above. He was in the league one team of the year and a good goalscoring midfielder. It would have been a real coup if we had got him, but just as well we didn't as he must be **** if you haven't heard of him.
-
Surely not, what could be more important to anyone than being lucky enough to be playing the mighty England? WHo remembers Euro 2004 qualifiers when England played Turkey in Turkey needing a point to qualify and the commentator described it as 'the biggest night in Turkish football' despite it being only 18 months since they played in the world cup semi final against Brazil. obviously England needing a draw in Istanbul is far more important to your average Turk.
-
on how long into the England v Algeria game it is before the commentator says something along time lnes of 'this is the biggest night in Algerian football history' or 'this is the biggest night in some of these Algerian players lives' i'll go for 32 seconds.
-
On a serious note, i agree, however i wasn't that hopefull of signing him when i heard Forest and Boro were interested as they both have a reasonable chance of playing premier league footall sooner than we do. Plus gingers stick together, so he was always going to prefer to join boro.
