Yeah, back in the days of clubcall they actually announced we'd signed Armstrong only for him to be unviled at Middlesborough the next day
-
and a saints goalkeeper beaten at their near post again.
-
You know what they say, buy cheap you by twice. Or in our case you keep on buying until you get lucky
-
A young championship level striker who doesn’t score many goals, course we’re in for him
-
The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.
Turkish replied to CB Fry's topic in The Lounge
He’s like a saints transfer at the end of Les reeds era so useless and overpaid we can’t even give him away -
FFS. Meet the new owners same as the old owners. Thought we were meant to be able to move quicker in the transfer market these days. No holds barred. Some sort of sick joke 🤦

Have we signed anyone yet?
-
Mary Nightingale doing the tea time news 😍

It's disgusting though isn't it and only right the BBC apologise for something someone said that no one knew anything about 60+ years ago.
-
To be fair i'd prefer Nick Pope over all the keepers with been linked with and plenty we havent. When your obession is resale value though rather than fixing a major issue in our squad for 4-5 years we're very unlikely to get him
-
How much have you seen of both keepers this season Dirk?
-
I do, it's hilarious, funny, orginal and very apt for Baled out (see what i did there, LMFAO) it never gets old even after 200+ times of hearing it.
-
Expect not a single person would have cared or even noticed until they decided they needed to apologise.

He’s the darling of the Liverpool biased media because he’s a young scouse lad playing for them so they’re desperate to talk him up. I don’t rate him that highly either, he always gets found out against the top teams. I’ve just been away with a Liverpool fan who was going on about how great he was and he knows as he watches him every week (on the telly of course) didn’t like it when I pointed out how he looks brilliant against poor teams when Liverpool steam roller them but exposed when he’s got to defend.
-
So good the other players can’t read his runs, much like Papa Waigo was
-
Got a sky sports newsflash England players believed to be booed when taking the knee. When will the nonsense end
-
Patrick Viera and Vincent Kompany agree with you
-
We’ve got plenty of lemons though
-
I can’t be arsed to discuss this utterly pointless topic with you as apart from anything else I’m off out for lunch in a minute. No one cares about this apart from you so I’ll let you celebrate this little victory and probably greatest moment in your forum history. Enjoy your bank holiday pal.

Agreed. He’s even bored me with this one, what a complete dickwad

Is it a competitive league, yes or no?
-
the French second tier is a competition therefore it’s a competitive league competitive /kəmˈpɛtɪtɪv/ adjective 1.relating to or characterized by competition and I see you edited your post 🤣
-
Riad Mahrez came from Le Harve in the French second tier and he did alright.
-
We sign a player for nothing, let him test himself in a competitive league where we can keep an eye on him. If he does well he’s been a Bargain signing if he doesn’t then he cost us hardly anything. I can’t say I’m very optimistic about this one but you never know Our danish fella must know what he’s doing, after all he’s done a Ted Talk

Exactly that. Greater efficiencies plus improved technology means staff numbers are reduced. I’ve been at my company for 8 years and in that time we’ve closed down 3 offices in the UK and reduced staff by about 30%, we simply don’t need as many admin staff now as lots of what we do is automated. also agree that the NHS is separate issue and also appreciate how hard and stressful jobs like social workers are, was (obviously) taking the piss with teachers sounds to me like being left with inexperienced, poor performing staff as good people are getting fed up with the work load is more a training and development issue, plus people not liking being challenged. Unfortunately that’s life these days. .
