Embarrassing post. The xG concept is pretty simple. As is the fact that football like most things is cyclinical unfortunately it’s you that hilarious if you really believe that these wonder tacticians are completely reinventing the wheel when they come up with a new system that’s never even been seen before in 100 odd years of professional football

Like most things these days, these silly games have given geeks a voice and they think they’re experts. Push and run, the W formation, inside forwards, wingless wonders, total football, even the big man up top in a 4-4-2 were once consider the work of tactical geniuses. I remember in 1986 or so when Sheffield Wednesday beat us 3-0 at the Dell after they got promoted with their direct football everyone saying they’d never seen anything like it. There is nothing new just a copy or variation of stuff that’s gone before with a rebranding. The difference is now every little drip with an internet connection is an expert because they did alright on FM19

It looks pretty shit to be honest. Not much difference between standing in a seat. Also not too sure about beer being back in the grounds. Will have too many helmets who can’t handle their beer getting lagging or throwing it around around everywhere. Imagine the excitement when a sweeper becomes fashionable again and gets renamed as something trendy, a false 5 playing in a deep lying against the ball channel or some other bollocks. Yet they all think these modern ideas are something special and they are superior to anyone that played the actual frigging game at a decent level

Im not asking for the mods to take action, simply pointing out that on a forum where people get bans for the most innocuous things i'm regularly abused yet nothing is done about. The same person has joined 3-4 threads recently just to abuse me, which is rather strange. It also looks like its not just me who thought you were overreacting, you know what they say when you think the problem is other people, it probably isnt

Why would i want to debate with someone who immediately becomes abusive when the discussion doesn't go how they think it should? Abuse, swearing, calling me thick, all rather strange behaviour from a presumably grown man. Would you want to debate with someone like that?

Looks like it's not just me that thinks you're getting all upset, now an even more angry reply with swearing, abuse and a little dig at the end because someone else has the same view as me. Some might say it’s a debate between people who’ve actually played the game and others who’ve read a few blogs and played football manager but think they’re geniuses. Quite amusing that some old boy who appears to have never kicked a ball in his life who has to sneak around behind his wife’s cold glare after promising never to to post on here is trying to mock people talking about football 😂

He looks a confident lad and has a bit about him. Sure he’ll be fine. Adams reminds me of when Rodriguez joined us. A good player but took him a year or so before he believed he belonged in the premier league. I think Adams is a good player, powerful, holds it up well but if fans thinks he’s going to get 20 a season then they’ll be disappointed. At first I thought he was but unlucky in front of goal but the truth is that you don’t look at the top strikers and think they’re unlucky not to score they just do what’s right, adams seems to just hit it as hard as he can and sometimes it goes in sometimes it doesn’t. Good player, average finisher but to be blunt about what we could hope for on our budget

It’s pretty obvious to all but a few mentalists that Ings would have scored a couple of the changes Armstrong has had and possibly won games for us. Although given our abject ability to hold onto leads I’m not sure we’d have won those games. However I like the look of Armstrong and I like what Ralph is building. Adams and Armstrong won’t be the most prolific pair but they’ll cause teams problems, confident they’ll get c10 goals each this season provide Ralph doesn’t do made things like drop adams for redmond which is pointless
