Interesting to note that the club see a future for Elyanoussi too, a player written off by the fans but clearly Les and Ross were planning for the future too knowing he would need a couple of seasons on loan to make himself saints ready. They truly are visionaries.
Based on a couple of half decent sub appearances. Completely ignoring the fact he's not been selected by a succession of managers and hardly set the world on fire with his loan spells anywhere. He'll have a reasonable league one or championship career but not premier league level. He's nearly 24, if he was going to make it he would have by now.
The formation was a joke. Denmark are a decent side but not know for their prolific attack, he starts at home with a back 5 and two defensive midfielders. Then with us a goal down and 15 minutes ago makes a like for like change with a defensive midfielder, and swapping Rashford & mount for Calvert-Lewin and Sancho. Really poor team selection and subs.
I understand a VERY high profile saints fan has just started following Da Grosa Capital partners and Kapital Football Group on LinkedIn. Make of that what you will.
He does do that, but then i guess he's been so much better than the players around him at Villa that maybe that's his instinct. I really enjoy watching him, classy player who seems to have so much time on the ball.
No one said he’d had a spectacular career, I said he’s one of those players other players, managers and fans who understand the game appreciate and every team needs, something you unsurprisingly seem to be struggling to comprehend.
