Believe what you want I don't give a sh*t. What I will say is they aren't rumours and there are plenty more incidents that our tiny Italian was involved in as well. As I said ask yourself this, if Katrina was happy with him why did she want a greater view of what he was doing? Why was Cortese only giving her a top line financial figure and not full access the finances which she had to get rid of him to get? Why did he take out a high interest offshore loan with Vibrac despite brashly claiming a couple of years early that the club didn't do debt, that in good times he would put money anyway for bad? Why did the training ground cost twice as much as budget and delivered 18 months later than planned? Why were there multiple court cases involving the club and everyone one of them settled at the last minute out of court? Why, despite successive promotions did the corporate boxes stay empty, why was a midsize premier league clubs commercial income smaller than a midsized championship club despite playing in the richest league in the world. How despite playing in this league was the best shirt sponsorship deal he could deliver being with the largest recruitment company in Chillworth Business Park? Not rumours, all FACT, same theme here, spending money, not making it. As for delivering on the pitch, I've always said he did a good job in the lower leagues but his ego ran away with him when we got in sniffing distance of the premier league and it all started to go downhill. However do you really think an Italian banker was responsible for signing Fonte, Lambert, Hammond etc all players key to our rise through the league? He appointed a decent manager when he first arrived who built the team, do you think he knew who Pardew was when he was sitting behind his desk at his Swiss bank? Believe what you want and continue to think we'd be so much better off if he was still here, we wouldn't not rumour. FACT.

Yep, asked to stay on if he agreed to toe the line, which he didn't so he was fired, you believe what you want to believe pal, but ask yourself this, is Katrina was so happy with the work he was doing why did she want a change of policy and greater governance over what he was up to? He was supposedly doing a brilliant job after all, why change it? Here's why, he was out of control His ego was running away with him. He was spending money hand over fist, having to take out high interest loans, got bailed out once by Katrina before. He got us a £20m training ground for £40m, mainly due to his knobbish behaviour, wanting a personal lift, getting the builders to deck the toilets out in expensive tiles before demanding they take them all of and do it again as he didn't like them. Refusing to pay them so they had to down tools until he did. He is the only chairman in the history of premier league football to see commercial income go down on back to back promotion, this was his job don't forget, to make the club money. You're never going to do that when you p*ss off pretty much every local business that would spend money with you, including getting himself banned from a top City Centre restaurant for yet more knobbish behaviour Cortese was brilliant at PR for himself, a few well placed journalists happy to suck up to him, the players and managers being made to mention how great he was every time they spoke publically and of course his little stunt of the front cover of the programme. And you saps lapped it all up and sang his name, turning your back on one of the clubs greatest every players because some midget dictator told you what you wanted to hear. It's absolutely laughable people claiming we'd have been in the champions league if he was still here, the reality is we'd be more likely to be in administration again. Still I'm sure people like Fitzhugh Fella who despised him when he was here and all the other saps who lapped up his bulls*it will continue to believe we were so much better run then than now.

Stephens to play as front sweeper?

I just hope when he does return the fans show him the respect and mindfulness he deserves. Football contracts are like modern day slavery, he's being held here against his will and being forced to work. Virgils mental state must be very fragile right now so we should remember his predicament and show our support for him. It's 2017 FFS some parts of society really haven't moved on, in any other industry you want to change employers to do so by giving them notice but not in the greedy world of premier league football.

Because IRA Jezza, who attended a private grammar school and doesn't consider his £138k a year salary makes him wealthy has his finger on the pulse of the realities of the average man.

Great to see a politician stand by his beliefs and not play to the crowd to get votes. A principled man who defends his view passionately. He has all the hallmarks of a great leader for this nation and would certainly get the Muslim vote

This is the rule of the forum pal. Any slight discrepancy in what you post will Be jumped upon by those desperately hoping youre wrong. I used to post stuff but was constantly shouted and down and told I was wrong and had an agenda so stopped bothering. Some of us appreciate your posts and know how it all works. I put it down to jealousy from those who trawl this forum desperate for any snippet of information.

The other players are set to give him a book of condolences on his failed move this morning so at least it'll feel like he's at Liverpool.

Brilliant, brave 3 lions roaring to victory, there are no easy games at that level, showed great character turn it round after the early set back. Looks like another qualification campaign unbeaten which is a magnificent achievement. 3 lions on a shirt, Jules remit still gleaming etc etc.

It hilarious that Sky Sports are now labelling this as "Breaking News!" - Senior sources at Southampton say Van Dijk will not be leaving They've been saying this all summer and how is it breaking news that a player no bids have been made for is staying at his current club, they really are a joke.

If there is one thing we have learnt on this forum during Les's time at the club, whatever has gone well has been inspite of him, whatever has gone badly is because of him.

Apologises for not keeping abreast of the changes on your illustrious career By the way having watched you fall on your sorry arse whilst struggling to run 200 metres during the half time interval I'll rest assured that should I ever be unfortunate enough to come across you in person any hiding won't be done by me.

I liked the ones saying its gone very quiet, because there has been no news overnight, why aren't the club giving us regular updates every 30 minutes? They have a twitter account FFS

I've only been to a couple of home game in the last few years. Do we still have helmets dressed in road cone hats, fancy dress etc? One of the wierdest things I saw was a few years ago when Pochetino was manager a load of blokes in white capes, they looked like the Klu Klux Klan, turned out they were hilariously dressed as popes something to do with Popechino, very odd.

He should have done better with the first one, stronger hand and pushed it out wider, the second was unlucky., but ultimately both goals were down to a striker reacting quicker in the six yard box than the defender, I think it was Bertrand who didn't react at all for the first goal and Hernandez nipped in to score. Good poaching when its your striker, sloppy defending when it goes against you. Either way I'm pretty sure with a better central defensive pairing and a leader in the back 4 those goals don't happen.

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

What we need is a good Hollywood blockbuster to bring an end to it all. rocky Balboa in Rocky 4 went to Russia to fight Ivan Drago and proved that the good old fashioned American warrior spirit will alway overcome the odds, whilst at the same time breaking down communism and ending the Cold War. Maybe its time for a similar one where aging break dancer will smith goes to. Islamic state to take on Daesh top boy in a dance off. He'll arrive to the cold shoulder and be followed around by Isis spies, then in his pre battle training montage he'll practice his moves in a war torn, deserted Iraqi town to the sounds of Run DMC its like that. slowly dozens of Iraqi children come our of their wrecked homes surround him with beaming faces, smiling and dancing along whilst the dismayed ISIS spies shame their head in dismay. Will wins the break dance competition, the american hero is cheered by the audience and given a standing ovations no even Jihad John rises to his feet vowing to change. -
Patred44s scouting report of him where he had seen him play a few weeks before signing in a Scottish cup tie v Inverness whilst visiting family. Hooiveld had been awful, given away a penalty and got sent off. When patred44 was told that there hadn't been a Scottish cup tie between the two sides he changed his story to a preseason friendly. When it was pointed out that there was no record of a preseason friendly he then claimed it was a behind closed doors friendly. It was a complete fabrication and yet another lie in his smeer campaign against les Reed which has gone on for several years.
