  1. What you won’t or can’t acknowledge though is Christmas, like it or not, is a Christian festival, celebrated in England by eating food and exchanging giftS, you did that so you celebrated it, however much you try to pretend you didn’t.
  2. The first bit was meant to say gifts, predictive text, Second bit answer the question and it will become relevant, what do you normally do in someones birthday?
  3. He must do, he celebrates his birthday!
  4. And exchanged kits. Let me ask you, what do you do on people birthdays?
  5. It’s illogical isn’t it! A bit like wishing people merry Christmas, celebrating Christmas then pretending it has no religious connotations whatsoever despite spending days talking about god, Jesus and the Bible
  6. Not sure what the saints voice do? Grass up on fans twitter profiles and make sure that our virtue signalling remains premier league standard.
  7. Do we? Most clubs have played 20 games now so they all have 18 left, surely everyone has to play everyone apart from the one team they’ve already played twice?
  8. Supposedly Benitez is locked into some very expensive contract in China which has ruled him out, SSN saying its Moyes. Not a bad appointment.
  9. What exactly did you think a thread titled “Happy Christmas” would contain? I thought you’d be pleasantly surprised it just wasn’t 3 pages of Debye one saying the the same two words to each other?
  10. You have to remember it’s been a difficult few days for Matthew. Outed as a hypocrite, shown up for his lack of understanding of the scriptures and proven to come from a a religious family despite absolute denials in the validity of any of it. It’s been tough, he should be glad we are there to educate him. I hope he doesn’t make the same mistake at Easter.
  11. A champagne agnostic, he celebrates religious festivals don’t forget.
  12. It’s celebrating a festival, a religious festival, a Christian festival, even its name is a clue, Christ-mas. Christ the son of god, the basis of Christianity. If you can’t understand what you’ve done I fear for you. You even wished someone a merry Christmas on this forum, so just by saying that it has a religious connotations. It really is strange you can’t recognize this.
  13. I have answered it, it’s a religious festival which you took part in. Just because you don’t like the answer it doesn’t mean it’s untrue
  14. You celebrated a religious festival yet you are vehemently opposed to religion. Just because you keep denying it it doesn’t make it untrue.
  15. I’ve never done anything I’m vehemently opposed too, Like MLG is about god and religion
  16. But you don’t believe he exists, so they aren’t true stories in your opinion.
  17. They will also be off work New Year’s Day. Why not have your present exchanges that day? Why do it on the 25th December? Why not just choose any random day during the year when you’re all off work, August bank holiday perhaps?
  18. Could it be there were a lot of people like you around in those times?
  19. Okay, you just randomly picked the 25th December to spend the day with you family exchanging gifts. We believe you.
  20. I’m not sure why you keep going on about it. Christmas is a Christian festival and MLG, the staunch atheist who believes the bible condones racism, sexism, genocide and many other things celebrated it, making him a hypocrite.
  21. You celebrated a Christian festival. However much you protest against it you did. That makes you a hypocrite.
  22. Yet you celebrate his sons birthday, you utter hypocrite
  23. When you were exchanging gifts with your family celebrating this Christian festival you didn’t seem too concerned about sexism, genocide and homophobia
  24. It’s fine Matthew, you don’t have to justify it to anyone. The traditional way of celebrating Christmas, a Christian festival for the birth of gods son, is to visit family, exchange gifts and have a meal and drinks. I completely get that you decided to visit family, exchange gifts and have a meal and drinks you weren’t celebrating A Christian festival at al you it just happened to be a compete coincidence that you chose to do these things on that day, not any of the other 364 days in a year.
  25. Yet you celebrated it. How odd.
