Its a squad game. Yoshida is very 'meh' so we have 1.5 PL quality centre backs. Could easily sign two, put Yoshida as fourth choice and finally bin off Hooiveld. Would hope we get 2 CBs, in fact would say its a requirement if we want to have a decent season.

Was strange how short it was. No questions about the game, nothing on Taider. Seemed almost like they knew they had to have a presser but didnt really want to. In the end all that comes out in the national media will be more negativity re Schneiderlin, when if they had allowed it to carry on there could have been more positives.

Koeman's comments live seemed to suggest he was pretty angry with Morgan. What does it say if for example JWP has worked really hard all pre season then gets replaced next Saturday by someone who has been showing an awful attitude and doesn't want to play for the club? Quite clearly Schneiderlin won't play at Anfield, and I would say its far, far more likey that not that he won't play for us again at all.

I would be furious if Hooiveld was one injury away from playing PL football. In fact, I am furious about it.

Guan on the other thread suggested the Romanian guy is instead of Rojo, but RK did admit interest in both. Plus Rojo is left sided and Romania lad is right.

Schneiderlin is clearly going to leave. If he hasn't calmed down by now its unliekly he suddenly will. More about the club showing some balls which they have, but ultimately if we get a big offer he will go because he wants to, and thats what happens.

He is Romanian, young, hungry and guarenteed to improve. What is not to like? Unconfirmed at this stage though.

Definitely need to get a ****ing move on. We have one first team striker and only two centre backs plus not a lot out wide. If Tadic and Pelle got injured our attack would be lower Championship/ upper league one.

Makes sense as long as he plays. I think Stephens could be our 4th CB this season and can also cover at RB. Has looked a good player whenever Ive seen him, and the Swindon manager was determined to get him back there again so he must have done well.

Can't see it will change much. Forster may still want to come here. Celtic know they need to boost their squad and could do with the cash. They go into a playoff round where they could face someone decent, so may well not be in the CL anyway.

In the end it was the missed penalites that cost them...

Celtic have rejected our second bid for Forster according to the Express. Given our track record at closing deals I can't believe we will do more than one by Saturday, let alone 3 or 4.

And he probably is this time. He said player booked in for a medical. Not sure how anyone woulf dispute that based on knowing nothing?
