The one and only. He often looks happier than that TBF.

Many happy returns to a SWF stalwart and fan of Saints. Happy birthday pal

Neil McCann was class for us and a proud Tartan lad.

Was confirmed before last weeks game but someone on here who deals with the squad that he wasnt travelling to Stoke or Sunderland but would hopefully be back for Hull. Lee seems a bit pointless to me, he is never going to have a future here so nothing really gained by playing him. He is clearly just filling a squad space.

That is pretty poor. That funday thing was a complete joke.

Looks like Sunderland will keep a few first team regulars in. I am expecting overall their team to look stronger than ours.

Clyne is much better than Micah Richards at RB. You have to look at form over the last 18 months, the likes of Richards and Young have done nothing. Its easy to hide in the huge squads of the big teams, less easy to play well every week for 35 or so league games.

Absolute top player. Often it would be the attacking displays that show class of a young full back, but for him it is equally his defending. I can't recall any wide player that he has been well beaten by? Most of them don't get a sniff against him. If he stays injury free then he really should get 100+ caps for England and despite hype over Morrison and others, he is by far the best English prospect out there.

Artur Boruc remains the ace in the Premier League pack
Saint Charlie replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
He would be right up there with Lloris IMO. Other three keepers I think have done well are: Mignolet (depsite a couple of "moments") JJ at WHU is a consistent performer Hull keeper Alan McGregor is a good shot stopper -
His contract expires in the summer so Im sure his club will be looking to sell in January. Decent write up here, if of course we have any interest: http://www.scan-scout.com/2011/11/04/pontus-jansson/

Serie A to Premiership - success stories?
Saint Charlie replied to Glasgow_Saint's topic in The Saints
Agree with this. Lallana should be an example for him to follow. -
He did ok, but we finished 14th. He also had quite a few woeful moments, the kind neither Fonte nor Lovren have got close to. If he starts more than 6 or 7 games we won't finish top 8. Right now we are doing well but havent had injuries to any key players. Lets wait and see what happens when they come before getting too ahead of ourselves.

Nobody will be arrogant when Hooiveld gets a run in the side.

The online system is pretty decent on the whole.

I can't remember, its usually pretty quick. Anyone been successful yet online?

My queue number has stayed the same since 9.00

Reckon Jay Rod might start but not expecting any other starters from yesterday to.
-
I said Brett was better than Lambert, not JR.
-
Getting big fees is one thing, getting a replacement of the same quality is very, very tough and getting someone better almost impossible.
-
The key will be keeping our best players. Four or five will be heavily coveted by top clubs this summer, offering CL football. Clyne, Shaw, Schneiderlin and Lovren for starters.
-
Once JR was taken off Stoke pushed their back 4 up far, far higher because they knew we had nobody who would get in behind. Ramirez wasnt terrible by any stretch but him and JR are different types and we always miss Jay's pace when he isnt on the pitch. Agree re killer pass though.

From the replays I wouldnt say any of our pen shouts were 'definites', more a case of 'seen them given'.

Doubt swapping ends is decided spur of the moment by the captain.
