Well said Davie. For me Welbeck (one league goal this season) is very lucky to be near the Senior setup. Rooney has been bypassed by many players but is still our best striker. The fact the likes of Carroll will be selected ahead of Lambert is probably the reason we never do well, its a club where your face needs to fit and form is largely irrelevant. That Milner is often in the first XI when he wouldn't get in Saints' (for me) is telling.

BOLD thread Davie. Personally, I think you are a visionary - often maligned on this Forum but clearly you are just before your time. In years to come the "special one" won't be Jose it will be Davie. Back yourself son.

To be fair it was mostly that the reason we needed a "front sweeper" was that Morgan doesn't tackle or operate defensively and only passes sideways. You do wonder what game some people are watching at times.

Decent squad - imagine a few of the better players might be on the bench. Can't really see anyone missing apart from their cup tied players and Ben Arfa who might be back vs us. Of course he isnt perfect. The way he was thrust into the side was not ideal for him either. I am sure we will see the bendfit of Forren's 'integration period' when he plays, we didnt have much choice with Maya but ordinarily you wouldnt choose the path he had.
