Wonder if we might go back to the 532 for this one as they play twp up front. Mane and Pelle up front if Long misses out and Austin and possibly Jay on the bench. Would probably bench Clasie for this one as he has had a dip in form the last few weeks.

Looks like Bertrand is fit.
-
Would be suprised if Lallana played.

Arsenal next summer (at the end of his Saints contract) would appear logical unless they have someone else specifically lined up. Koeman's character and calmness would be well suited to taking over from a long term Manager. Would back him to not make the same mistakes Moyes and Van Gaal have in life since Ferguson.

Berg injured for 6 weeks or half the season if he needs an operation.

Some other clubs have reduced most prices substantially in light of increased income. Mine is the same as last year, why should I be happy? I'm not upset, but I haven't been offered a better deal so it doesn't qualify as "good" news. The reductions they have made are for the seats with the worst view to bring prices inline with what away supporters will pay to ensure no complaints from home fans. Beyond that they could have done more given that they are about to get the highest amount of TV money ever and match revenue is a small part of their overall income.

Reckon if Ron wants to see out his contract we will fire him? I don't see how they could without being perceived to be mad or lacking ambition i.e can't keep a Manager for more than 2 seasons. He has always been pretty up front about the fact he will honour his deal so would be quite dishonourable of us to give him grief for it.

Ice pack on his knee at HT in the tunnel apparently.

I think he will have one eye on what Arsenal are doing too, next summer if not this. I think he likes being in England and would be interested in any title/CL qualifying side here if/when they come up.

Mine is the same as last year. Still expensive. The Club could definitely have done more considering how their income will increase. Can't help but feel the reductions they have made have been done to avoid potential complaints re the price away fans will pay versus home if they had not reduced them.

Hopefully it works. If not its a nice club PR way of telling everyone they tried. Hope Koeman stays next season but if he decides (as he is perfectly entitled to) to run his contract down then that will be a delicate situation.

Gobern started 1 league game all season Mills started no league games Lee Holmes started no league games Seaborne started 14 and was largely adequate We had Lallana, Lambert, Schneiderlin, Fonte, Chamberlain, Jaidi, Puncheon all of whom had/have gone on to do well at PL level plus a number of very good players for L1 at the time. We should have won the league easily with those players IMO. Not that he didn't do a good job, especially in the Championship season, but at L1 level he had by miles the best squad to work with. Surely that cannot be disputed?
-
After how many games? That was obviously not representative of performance, hence that Manager being sacked so early on. Pretty clear that we had a squad that should have comfortably won L1. No weak links and an attack as strong as has been seen at that level with about 5 subsequent Intls ( for good European nations too).

He has been the biggest success of anyone who has left Saints for supposed "bigger things". By far. Excellent Manager.

Biggest defector Pochettino's stock continues to rise. Superb manager.

Top Manager who will be fired by Spurs by Christmas*/End of season* * etc #melts

Sounded like it was just a small injury so maybe less.

In proper news, Bertrand has withdrawn injured from the England squad so lets hope he is good to go for this game and just has a knock.

Another class T20 signing with Darren Sammy joining for some of the group games and is also available for the latter stages. Will have two Intl t20 Captains in our side. Strong look to us for the t20 on paper.

93% is very poor especially when there are so many season ticket holders and we have a competitive team.

I will be mad if we let Wanyama go and then stick with what we have. Have to replace Wanyama's power. Clasie and Romeu aren't at his level, so that isnt a way to move forward. Be a bit more aspirational, we play in the richest league in the world, we can and will afford to replace Wanyama with a starting quality player.

Dean Jones on the pulse as ever.
