They said he had texted and couldn't make it but would be on later in the week. Was a painful listen, especially when Cundy said that Mignolet signing a new 5 year contact made him think he was definitely going to be Liverpool's no 2 keeper next season. Despite Goldstein asking about 10 times why it meant that, Cundy was unable to really answer. Then Terry the Cabbie from Romford called in saying West Am would win the title.

Andy Goldstein & Jason Cundy's Sports Bar I guess? Absolute bantz.
-
Sounding like he will favour West Ham over Everton. Think he is an Essex lad too.

Not sure we would get anywhere near £20m. The fee we got for Clyne is indicative of the effect of having a year left on your contract and Wanyama would be the same. Retaining your best and most valuable players where possible is a no brainer and Wanyama is our best defensive midfielder by a distance.

Sweepstake for when Koeman says, "Its a good player, a scoring player"...?

Interesting article. Sounds like a realisation that the conveyor belt of talent is and has slowed. With our rep we should be able to bring in some good talent from other clubs at an U16/18 level. Pelle is now dispenable, certainly in the summer and if we could resign Wanyama then its a no brainer and would pretty much be the first PL signing to resign despite other (rumoured) interest.

@KuipTalk: Many international scouts were in De Kuip yesterday to see Tonny Vilhena, including AC Milan and Swansea City.
-
Their transfer expert Warren Haughton has his fingers on the SSN and Daily Mirror pulse.
-
Alex Crook strikes again. Probably means Liverpool have no interest.
-
Didn't say they had!

Just shows pretty much anyone in the PL apart from the usual established big 6 could be relegated following a few bad decisions and a poor transfer window. They wouldn't have imagined this ar the start of the season when Gomis and Ayew were on fire and Monk flavour of the month.

Clyne the only one who has generally done well and been selected for every game. Be very interesting to see if Lallana is still at Liverpool next year and, if not, where he ends up. Wonder if Poch would take him to Spurs if the price were right?

http://totaldutchfootball.com/2016/01/17/vilhena/ Bit on Vilhena here. Sounds like he would be a low risk and high potential summer signing as a free transfer.
-
The Telegraph article said around £80k a week which is probably more likely.
-
Its still Andy Gray.
-
Yep, but had that form continued for a couple more games we would have been in the mix. Thankfully it hasn't. Will be pretty tight down there now that Newcastle have improved. I reckon its Villa plus two of Norwich, Swansea and Sunderland.
-
Adds a nice extra spice to his first home game. He will be even more keen to score.
-
Well we had lost 8 in 10 at that stage. Back to back wins changes a lot.
-
It has been a bit sub usual standard for a while though, not just during this period of heavy use. Certainly not as good as previous years overall.

Obvious ability but will Juanmi ever get going for us? Fair enough you need time to settle but he hasn't even started a game and doesn't come on that often. Not a criticism of the player or manager, just must be frustrsting for someone that was on the fringes of the Spain squad. Likely he will go back there in the summer? -
Good video, a few against us in here!
