If Reed goes on loan it will be interesting where. We have set Gallagher and Stephens back through poor choices so hopefully this is a good one and he gets regular starts.

Agree. But think we will try and make it to the summer with Fonte and VVD with Yoshida/Gardos (when fit) as backup. Definitely CB should be on the summer radar though.

No. Neither did Palace though. He won't start ahead of Naismith and won't be selected to play up top on his own. Will be used as sub option I think, or maybe out wide.

Got to wonder about the U18s coaching setup. Have lost 8 in a row which is dire in any situation and seem to concede a very high number of goals. For such a well regarded Academy surely we can attract excellent youth coaches?! Almost seemed like Fleming just happened to be there when Limbrick left. Based on what? Scoring goals against teenage CBs in a diluted U21 league where the best U21s either play first team football or are out on loan? Precisely why a League One loan is a good idea, see where he is really at rather than making baseless assumptions.

Chance to show he can score goals at that level. If not then calls to put him in our team are fanciful. If he does then great.

Just can't see Rees starting for Swansea so a loan would be pointless IMO. Wonder if he may feel a permanent move is better for him as hard to see him starting many games next season either.
