Hopefully Clasie is ok. He seemed to be walking in quite a restricted way when came off the pitch.

He is doing individual training. Probably play U21s soon. Must say, I wasnt overly sold on him last season. He had some good games but also looked shaky at times. Probably about the same level as Maya. Certainly feel we could get a better 3rd CB in the summer.

Wanyama is better. This thread wouldn't have been written after he was superb against Man Urd and Arsenal.

Opinion of Pelle?

Yeah he is a class player. Just would expect him to have more goals playing in such a good side.

Ozil's 4th PL goal this season. Suprisingly low for a player of that quality. Tadic has 5.

How did you see the game yesterday? Standout players, areas to improve etc? Be good to hear some opinions on football rather than opinions on posts on a football forum.

U18s lost 4-0 to Arsenal yesterday. Think that is 8 losses in a row which is awful. Will probably need to buy in some talent at some stage. Also doesn't help the talented ones to develop as they are playing with inferior players and confidence must be low.

Never a red, that. Clumsy and silly yes, but should have been a yellow. If it wasn't for his previous reds then surely that would be appealed!

That Payet song is also ****ing annoying.

Cedric isn't better than Clyne was for us IMO. He has improved a lot and is doing well but Clyne was ultra reliable. Others are improving and VVD is quality and has been from game one. Nice to sign someone like Austin who doesn't need a few months to reach the required level.

Great win. We didn't play on our level, even before the red and was a great defensive display to hold onto the win. Forster pretty untroubled second half. Felt we missed Davis as the player in the hole as his defensive contribution is better than Mane and he provides a bit of control that we didn't really have. Silly foul for the red. He did similar on Payet first half where he gave them a free kick that was very avoidable. That said, it shouldn't have been a red. Long was tireless, blocked a Byram cross near the end brilliantly. The 3 CBs were the stars though IMO. Each excellent and VVD especially dealt with Carroll superbly. Added bonus to beat WH because they are quite dislikable from the Chairman's illiterate tweets to the teenager making their announcements before the website etc and the whole West Ham way thing. Enjoyable - until realising all trains are ****ed.

Not bothered if Pelle starts but Yoshida would be needless as no injury to VVD or Fonte and WH don't play a front two so no need for a back 3.

If we play on our level we can complain West Ham IMO.

Not sure Austin will start if there are slight doubts about his fitness and its ages ago since he started a game. I would try and play Mane into scoring form. He is our best attacker.

I don't think Forster will leave on a free but if we don't extend then he will pretty much have to be sold next summer to avoid losing him for nothing the year after, which would be a shame given he already missed most of this season. The top sides are quite well set for keepers at the moment so hopefully that helps our cause. He is more likely to sign a new deal than Wanyama or Mane.

Forster didnt really have a lot to do in the three games he played in Jan I guess.
