  1. I went to the United one. It was poor quality pictures coupled with big black blocks appearing on the screen. And we were 3-0 down in 8 minutes as I recall. Problem we possibly have now is that now we are outside of the Prem, we don't have huge TV crews already at the matches from Sky or wherever where we can latch on to their coverage
  2. Mine are showing up now. I think I have about 6 aways actually against my customer number. Am going to stop paying cash at games next season to stop me worrying for games like this!
  3. Never gives less than a hundred% love him he never gives up.
  4. Fonte he was brilliant today
  5. My spare has been sold.
  6. I have a ticket for sale at face value. if anyone wants it, pop your email address up & I will send you a note. And I don't think they were selling beer in the ground last season
  7. oops dont no how to post images but it was the ref Roger Milford
  8. Was always known as a ****
  9. It won't be the statue of the man on the horse as there is not space for a coach pick up there. It will be the statue of KA
  10. My Cherries ticket is showing on online history. I reckon I only have about 4/5 aways showing against my order history as I have paid cash at a few.
  11. I remember the Cockerill goal up there. Brilliant volley corner of the area. I have looked online for it as well but no luck. Musty have been 88/89? Remember the disallowed goal at The Dell as well. Did Ricky Hill score for them? I remember that everybody hated Luton around that time for the away fans ban, their tory MP chairman, the plastic pitch and them always neating us. Feel sorry for them now
  12. We went to that match but sat in the home end opposite you as I have been to Stockport a couple of times and knew would get soaked if it rained! It was fun to watch in an awful 4th division sort of way. And yeh, we saw matey from Ashes to Ashes in the pub before.
  13. It's weird. I was at that game and it didn't register as all that at the time and wouldn't even get close to my top ten Saints games . Celebrated the winner as I would any late goal, but nothing special. And a week or two later, I barely celebrated when Higginbottom got that late goal against Palace. If we had got a winner at Selhurst, then I may have gone a bit silly.
  14. After that Newcastle match, people were on one of the forerunners of this site saying that we should sell Niemi as we have so much decent cover in Paul Smith and Alan Blayney. Good that people don't have kneejerk reactions after one good or bad game these days.
  15. Don't know, but just a guess that the reason that you can drink on the concourse but not the stand is that it is more controlled if you just drink in the concourse. If you drink in the seats as well it could mean uniterrupted drinking from say 1PM-5PM, whereas at least the way it is you have to have an hour or so break. Obviously there are flwas in that you can be in the pun hours beforehand anyway (but could be refused entry), or could get in the ground early and get pished, but that is my theory. Went to a game in Germany the other week and people there were watching the match with one litre pitchers. But it is a different society there with alcohol available in places such as Ubahn stations and perhaps where it is so freely available, it is not such a problem. Even saw wine on sale in a pharmacy. Impressed by that Bet the guy in the footage feels a bit of a plum now though
  16. Time to give it a rest me thinks nothing to debate until this comes to a conclusion. The club will have to answer the football league as to why they were in breach of rules, and i guess it carries on from there.
  17. Do people REALLY get upset when he is called 'Voice of the Fans' or whatever? I know Nick doesn't speak for me, and I know that Nick doesn't claim to speak for me. It all gets a bit embarrasing when people get all upset & precious (and jealous?) that Nick is being interviewed. Some of the vitriol on here is unbelievable. Rather than call him names on here, why not contact him on his own site? I know that he will answer you and have a chat. Bit more acceptable than name calling. And doesn't someone from The Echo post on here? Couldn't they arrange for someone else to do interviews? I am sure there would be lots of volunteers, and I know Nick would be more than happy for other people to speal to the media Though why anyone would want to be the voice of such a self centred, petty set of fans is another matter
  18. Coming from a man with over 18000 posts lol
  19. - Selling un-official gear on the back of the clubs trip to Wembley to make some money for himself. This Happens all over the Country people selling unofficial Merchandise - His negative remarks about the owners when they came in mmm Nick sorted out the Welcome Markus flag - His previous comments about the old regime and how he supported them. I think you will find that he only backedd Lowe when there was no other option at the time other than the club going under. - The Saints party at Silverspoons, which a lot of people think he made money from. Ok have to agree this was very poor but judging by the clientel leaving the place when we arrived its safe to say it was not all his fault. - The Sing for Saints thing, what happened to that money? Saints fans slagging the event off saying money was going to the players when it was not. No profit was made due to lack of support. - His comments in the press about the payment plans i.e lack of them. I think alot of people where left in the lurch after this decision by the club.
  20. Actually went to watch Hertha Berlin at the Olympic Stadium on Sunday. Despite the running track, and despite the main 'singing' fans being at oppo ends of the ground, and despite the PA announcer sometimes interfering (i.e. after goals), it was a fantastic atmosphere and far superior to anything I have seen in England (bar maybe the JPT final) over the last few years. The fans were chanting songs in support of their team rather than at the opposition fans, and conceding a goal didn't mean they shut up for 20 mins. As someone mentioned above, perhaps it is the fans that create atmosphere and are to blame when there isn't a decent vibe.
  21. (also only away games)
  22. Can you buy corporate box tickets at the ticket office if so Matt was quite within his rights to buy ten tickets? If not he should pay but dont embarrass our legend that gave me the best years watching saints ,who was loyal to us throughout and when I saw him leave wembly after JPT stopped at every fan for a photograph. Love the bloke and he gave me many free tickets as a youngster when I waited by the players gate(It was allowed then).
  23. As buctootim says, you need somewhere with loads for kids to do. To hell with culture for a week, try somewhere like Salou where you have the huge Portaventura theme park which you can waste at least 3 days visiting, and also take them about an hour north on the train and visit Barcelona and let them look round Camp Nou (if they are into football) and all the other attractions there.
  24. Brilliant. Far better than the usual '6 finger' style taunts between rivals
  25. He has every right to still be bitter as the club still haven't sorted his season ticket. Am sure you will call him a bitter **** when you are next posting on the UI. FWIW, I think the linking in with Carlisle tickets is a good idea, though perhaps the club could have offered an alternative to the Carlisle game?
