It seems that most of you have forgotten how frequently Fonte was burned last season. He was shown not to be Championship quality, and I'm afraid that means he will be a liability in the Prem. It will be a very long season without a decent CB.

Who's been worse since Christmas, Guly or Chaplow? Guly: the only Brazilian on the planet with no touch whatsoever. Can't shoot, can't tackle, can't head the ball accurately, won't run. Made no contribution in the second half of the season, but beloved by the four legged wooly types on this forum for unfathomable reasons. He must be spectacular in practise sessions is all I can guess.

What an insult that Matt played so little for England, especially when you come off Euro2012 where donkeys like Young, Milner and Welbeck played every game. Those three wouldn't have been fit to carry MLT's jock strap. My B.I.L. said that the reason that Hoddle didn't play MLT was that he (Hoddle) was used to being the skill player in training even when he was manager and that MLT could do everything that Hoddle could and then some. Hoddle didn't like being upstaged, so MLT's international career was dead. I don't know if this is true, but it sounds plausible.

Based on their performances over the last half of the season I would not let Guly or Chaplow near the team. Not near Premier league standard.

Thinking about how we will play in the prem got me thinking about which was our best played game this year. Perhaps not the best result, but the best played. Living in the U.S. I only get to see the televised games, so saw around ten games this year. For me our 3-1 loss at home to Reading was our best played game this year. I thought the passing and control of the game was magnificent, only the end result due to three quick break goals and sh.ite defending was poor. We totally dominated that game with -from memory - over 60% possession and 19 shots on goal vs 6. If we play like that every week in the prem and bolster our defence we will easily survive.

This is like being asked who will score the goals and at which minutes of the match. Stupid question....... 17.61 million....there!

Peterborough worry me. They are capable of scoring a lot of goals, and we have a very shaky defence. Fonte is getting worse and worse. Fox is decent going forward but not that great as a true defender. IF we get promoted we will need to completely revamp our defence - keep Hooiveld, but the rest could do with an upgrade.

What has happened to Chaplow since his injury earlier in the season. He was by far the worst player on the pitch today. Just like the last few times he's played. Utter garbage. Can't pass, can't shoot, gives away the ball every time. Fonta nd Guly have been woeful lately, Chaplow has been woeful squared.
