TV4 Sport sweden
svetigpung replied to The Majestic Channon's topic in Overseas Saints / Supporters Groups
Hej Sky had the game so any decent english pub should have been able to show the game. Personally i watched at O´learys in Göteborg, together with a leeds fan which increased the enjoyability factor... Next time they're on the box , dont mess with TV4 sport and their useless commentators (they're all shyte in Sw) , just get down to the nearest pub/bar. I mean any channel that would rather send a Liverpool friendly than the oppening fixture from the Championship can simply Fook Off -
Spot on Stoozer , exactly what i was about to say.

nice one BTW did you take your programme to the bogs hoping to have a casual read through while on the job?

I was over with some mates from sweden a couple of times last season and had a good time on Oxford Street . Would also recommend the Platform tavern round the corner. However , we ended up in The London Hotel pub....a very interesting place. They had live music as well , performed by drag queens!

are we pre-seasoning abroad as usual? is it Switzerland again then or back to Scando land? i know where i'd prefer!

Good Luck Saints ..... hope all those travelling have a cracking day down west will be following the match on the radio from Sweden. nervous/excited/bricking-it already!

then...yes , great for us. now...no , as a player, maybe , but as a person definately not. He would bring more problems to the dressing room thinking he was a big time charlie. Lets just keep the memories of him scoring against poor old Pompey back then.

I remember that one...my guess it was Bolton. 0-0 game.
-
Looking forward to the game...easter weekend , a couple of days in Brighton , some good weather , hopefully a good free-flowing match , a few pints afterwards. Just hope Lallana is fit and were up for it.

"thats a cue for a party!" BTW what a team we (and the Arse) had that day. Not many characters left in the prem nowdays.

start them young i say my kids went to StMarys from the age of 6 and loved the day-out..the walk to the ground, the crowd , wearing the scarfs , the roar when a goals scored, listening to grandads swearing! The experience is worth more than the game to them but... oh yer , there both devoted saints fans now , in a (foreign) school full of ManU, Arsenal and Liverpool fans. Yes!

Red&White ... you can just turn up on the day and get tickets....some times they even want you to pay! Don't forget Michael Svensson i doing the rounds as Halmstads coach now. His knees are happy that its as a non-playing role. -

Mr Red & White , it depends on where your visiting really. Gothenburg are playing Elfsborg on the 22nd...that should be a cracker. Otherwise AIK Stockholm - Malmö on the 12th. Check it out here... http://fotbollsallsvenskan.se/matchprogram2011.asp -
Hi all we were over from Scando land last weekend and none of us were quite sure of one song. think it was the "theres only one........." answers?

Hi I'm travelling over to the UK with some friends for the weekend and the MKDons match. As I'm in need of a new pair of quality Dr Martins , which shops in Soton sell your good old shoes/boots? There used to be one in Marlands but thats disappeared now. Any tips?

On our way to a match , probably 10 yrs ago now , we witnessed a 'confict' on the Avenue / crossroads with A35. Two guys ****ing each other off while driving down the Ave, both stop at the lights , when one guy gets out of his car , runs to the other and opens his door , takes out the car keys and chucks them into the bushes by the side of the road. The second guy couldn't believe it, and just sat there not able to move his car. Now the lights had turned green. Quite funny actually and no GBH.

How many saints are travelling to Brighton without a ticket? are there many going just for the away day experience by the sea. I'm going and will be sitting? quietly? in the home stand.
