Don't you just hate the transfer window. Most clubs would like to get their signings in before the start of the season but due to the inherent nature of the window, most business gets done in the final few days, after the season has started. Ridiculous.

At the end of the day, if paying them up front the figure they want means we can't get the CB we want then screw it, walk away.

Ultimately, if we get this deal, great, if not, so be it, as long as we get a top class CB (or two) and a nippy winger (and a GK, and a LB and.......)

That's right, so if we get him for 15m to bologna and 1.5m to Penarol that will be a great deal. That's without knowing if thes any further sell on fee granted to both clubs. Penarol's 30% ought to be worth around 6m. Edit: all figures in Euros.

I really don't see how it can be a different ratio cos then it's not 30% is it? That would be farcical. I guess Bologna set e fee as they have the majority share but probably have to clear that with Penarol just to see if they're happy with that. I really don't get this dual ownership though. As I said before, do Penarol pay 30% of his wages? What do they get for owning 30% of him? If they get nothing until his sale, then why not just make it a sell on %?

At the moment, with the fee being talked about being so much higher than our previous record, I'm slightly concerned. I'm sure NC knows what the club can afford but perhaps 2 or 3 players for that same money might be better spent? But hey, who knows, maybe we're gonna spend 12m on another 2 players anyway!

Well I never said Kelvin is crap, just that he was poor, ie. he could've done better. I watched the game again and I never saw him make 'half a dozen excellent saves'. He was beaten at his near post which shouldn't really happen but it happens to better keepers generally cos they think the striker is gonna shoot across goal, so in that sense it was a cute finish from Tevez. Still reckon it was offside though.

Minsk, I do not have pre determined beliefs and, for the record, I'm not anti Guly. I'm a big supporter of Kelvin and credit to him for his loyalty to the club. He deserves his chance in the PL. I just feel that he was below par today and for him that's poor. Let's be fair, the penalty was awful, an easy save. I don't recall many great saves myself, but I'm about to watch it again. Happy to be proved wrong. Just my opinion, but please, I don't slag off players for no reason. I give my honest opinion based on what I saw.

Yep, kelvin was poor today. He parried a shot back into the danger area when it would have been just as easy to parry it wide or even out for a corner. His distribution was poor too.
