Adam Johnson may be a dead end then?

This happens at every club at every level, from world football to grassroots Sunday league. If the manager feels he can get a better player in, he will. It's a long, hard season and I would expect the replaced player to still get a decent share of games, but also, competition for your place must not be underestimated. It can only be a good thing. If the replaced player isn't up for it, then they can move on. It's harsh, but that's the reality of it, as I say at every level. At least he won't have to run the line!

Chill. He's probably so impressed by our ambition that he's decided to negotiate a champions league bonus.
-
No, it's just a 'if he is there then a wink would be worthy' wink. You know, 'ah, he was there all the time!'.
-
If he's not there already that is
-
If he signs today do you think he'll fly out and join the lads asap?

Yep, tv for me too. Need to save cash whenever I can unfortunately. More cash for a league game.

Hmmm, still doesn't look that great with black shorts and red/white socks. Looks better though.

Same goes for the 'white' stripes on the home kit. For me, what makes this kit less of a saints kit (cos as many have pointed out, we wore a mainly red shirt back in the mid 80's) is the fact that the shorts and socks are red. Stick it with black shorts and white socks and it might look ok.

I'm also surprised that the carpet (all weather astro turf) is so close to the touchline. Players will often run off the pitch when chasing a ball down the line etc. The carpet will surely 'feel' different.

I don't usually go in the ground when it's empty

That white strip of seats is new

I find it hard to beleive that we let Martin and Bart go without having replacements lined up already. IMO, they were both capable of doing a job as backup. Obviously, we want improvement in those areas too, not just backup, but as I say, I should think its a dead cert that we'll see new faces in these positions to challenge the current first teamers. -
I'm surprised seat prices aren't split so that the first 10 rows are cheaper. I hate sitting in the first 10 rows, it's too low. In terms of quality view, it doesn't really matter where you are in the ground as long as you're a reasonable way up.

Lock the seat belt on Forecast's seat!

And a keeper too. I'll be very concerned if those two slots aren't filled soon. -

I agree, but if he wants to move away from the top paying club in the country, he has to accept that he's gonna have to take a wage drop, but you know, these kind of players seem to be happy to warm the bench for £80k a week. It's madness. If players were paid a lower basic wage with a mins played bonus, then they might reconsider their position in the squad. Warming the bench? Here's £40k. Get an extra £500 per minute played. -

ANd me lol -
The shirt in itself is bad enough, being mostly red, you won't see the pinstripes from the stands, but it's the red shorts and red socks that make the kit non traditional. The white kit looks really nice but I've always thought the 2nd kit has had a bit more creative freedom. However, having said that, I prefer the yellow shirt and blue shorts as our away kit.

And yet we've never sang 'come on you whites'. Not that I don't agree with you by the way, but just pointing that out.
