yeah saw that - its all a bit ho hum at the moment. Euro's delaying transfers, managerless clubs not making decisions etc etc. Hopefully we have Perraud official on 1st July announcement, would be amazed if we did, but please god let us learn our lessons and buy the essential players we need asap in the window.

Gutted and intrigued to see what he can do as Leicester don't play the same way as RB salzburg, would be nice to add his mate Enock Mwepu to our squad (armstrong type role) but our left side needs most work. @FabrizioRomano Patson Daka is set to join Leicester, done deal. The official proposal has been accepted by RB Salzburg board today and #LCFC are planning to announce the new signing next week

To be honest I think macedonia, austria, netherlands, ukraine, russia, wales are just teams we can hope for some good games. Dont think they will trouble the better teams.
-
Yeah I've enjoyed italy these past 2 games think I am gonna hope they win if/as I expect we wont. The thing I see in a tournaments a lot though the best early team isnt normally the one who will win, normally the winner start shit and improve. Think we are out as soon as well play germany/france/portugal in the next round but I live in hope.

yeah was just thinking about a clean start to align with the new financial year etc.

Just to add to that - covid price compared to relegated price is as not as much of a drop/risk as if they have to pay the pre/post covid price levels Gao was asking for. You can buy a club for a depressed price, you could get relegated and your asset value drops but you will have parachute payments in the championship that will give you a competitive advantage and increase the likelihood of promotion assuming you have a decent board/manager.

Or waiting for the accounts to close end of June ? Maybe hear something July 1 ??? pure guessing but that might make sense

I couldn't believe that tweet so had to check the actual quote on the 6th may before liverpool game, which aside from his poor judgement of our goalkeepers abilities i don't think he says what is tweeted. "I'm not really a big fan of having a clear number one goalkeeper," he said. "I need to have a good goalkeeper in the goal and whether it is number one or number two, or however you call him, it's not interesting to me. "He has to have a duel with another one, just like everyone else on the pitch. "It's always normal that goalkeepers have the good moments where they are good in form, where they save you the games, where they make you the big saves to keep you a clean sheet or to win you a game. "But then there are some moments where they are struggling a bit and then maybe the other one is in better momentum and you can use him for this," he continued. "The good thing is that we have two good goalkeepers that we can trust and this is something of an advantage, I think."

Anyone seen this ? Southampton are looking to sign Benfica full-back Nuno Tavares with Wolverhampton Wanderers’ forgotten man Ruben Vinagre lined up as his replacement at the Primeira Liga giants, as reported by A Bola. He can play both sides apparently
