  1. Think it I will sum up as Romeu is out performing his norm this season in my opinion but with him and JWP we do not have the pace factor to help launch attacks and recover possession when needed. Consequently I would rotate Romeu in and out of the team starting XI dependent on teams we are facing (burnley, newcastle etc) and give Diallo minutes against the fluid ball playing ones.
  2. Saw them both in the toilets on the m4 services, must of been stuck in there as they were huffing and puffing after a few minutes in there.
  3. This is the only question, alps was possibly the most pessimistic poster on here.
  4. Interesting am gonna have to read about that, read this book about similar subject - https://www.amazon.com/Drunkards-Walk-Randomness-Rules-Lives/dp/0307275175
  5. Its the expectation that the money he costs brings
  6. Career stats from Transfermarkt. Stats for us indicate a easy 20M+ striker - goal every other game - so can see why club is saying 40m (allegedly) Unfortunately his contract length is the counter balance - so i say 30mil and we move one either in the summer Or we put it in his release clause that its 20mil once he has done 1 full season on the next contract but if he score under 20 goals each season it goes up 10mil per year ;-) Bench him at 19 goals obvs
  7. Yeah this is crazy now. Fofana at Leicester started from day 1
  8. Yeah he was. 🙉
  9. Just checked and he has the 2nd best goals per game on our all time list behind Ron Davies and if he scores a few more goals will move up from 12 to 8th all time goal scorers
  10. True, but the money involved nowadays means no one is gonna say Danny Wallace to man u etc.
  11. Agree with MLG Ings is an important player because of a) his own abilities as a player and b)his importance to the teams success in our system. I would only put Virgil/Mane/Poch in the same category of "how we going to replace them" level as Ings.
  12. Play to the whistle, stephens turns like an oil tanker
  13. we never smash anyone, we cant score in a brothel and we have more kids than michael jackson
  14. Not really relevant but if anyone is interested it's the De Klassieker here tomorrow Ajax v Feynoord who are 1/2 in the league as well, should be a excellent derby. Going for Feynoord as been to a few games last year and their fans even when we played them in pre-season are excellent. Berghuis is their best player, Tadic should be on show for Ajax I think
  15. United will hardly play him but they dont want to help one of their champions league rivals............ Haters gonna hate
  16. Wonder if this will help reset the whole player salary expectations. We post we have "booked" losses of this size so how does Ings agent try and wring more money out of us above what we are offering and spin it positively? As other clubs release their accounts will those players coming off contract or up for renewal realise they can't demand what they thought due very very few clubs willing to spend it. Wonder how Everton and West Ham's accounts will look if Man U and Spurs post large losses as well.
  17. 5 goals - 6 assists - 4 Man of the matches and I've seen a couple of articles talking about him potentially an ajax future player.
  18. No idea about our interest anymore but I do look out for Veerman here as am in NL and he is defo a player, he's sort of a frenkie de jong type if that helps. Think Heerenveen need to sell in the summer so the figure I saw being aired was 12.5mil. Defo a player to keep an eye on.
  19. Let me be the first to say: I've never heard of him, never seen a match he has played but I for one say he is mustard and the transfer window will be a failure if we dont get him in early. Also swedish players never have ugly girlfriends.
  20. jesus this page is trash today
  21. Thanks dude, always love to understand our tactics and application so will add this website to my list.
