  1. Yeah saw that and immediately discounted it, seems highly unlikely but nice page filler for the journo
  2. Mehdi Benatia - Udinese - Centre Back - 26yrs old on Transfermarkt for 11mill Euro's and 11th best player in Serie A this season according to Whoscored http://www.whoscored.com/Regions/108/Tournaments/5/Seasons/3512/Stages/6739/PlayerStatistics/Italy-Serie-A-2012-2013 Sounds intriguing - wants to come to English football and no where in the article does he say he wants to play for Man U. http://sabotagetimes.com/reportage/mehdi-benatia-the-udinese-hard-man-who-wants-to-play-for-man-utd/
  3. I still don't get it how does one receive an infraction ? Do you get a PM, Does St Chalet come and knock on your door ?
  4. Whoo hoo I'm younger than Pap
  5. Anyways I've seen you boys in the reverse world of not606 and those mods are even dumber telling you to mug off to Beefy's thread, that dude seems like a proper dumb mod.
  6. Am thinking that since he's gone its like we have more bears than ever yo, if it went back to 1 bear we will be reliant on him for the bear lulz where as now we have plenty of bears = beacoup lulz
  7. Ok I am throwing a challenge out there who do any of you think is the best player for Under 15mil that we could buy to fill either CB/RM/All Round Midfielder. Be interesting to see the thinking processes yo !
  8. Your right, got very good scores when he is forward right and is at Parma - http://www.whoscored.com/Players/41237/
  9. It's all coming out now, you have beliefs and are sensitive !!!!!!
  10. hahhaaha as I said aspirational Vidal it was based on the Don's skills in persuading one of the young talents of world football (ramirez) to come here last year. As I said I'd not seen him but am surprised that Ronocchia isn't rated Saint-Amstrong, he can't be that bad. You'd also be surprised how many 20 mil plus players there are and if we do indeed spend that money on any position this summer then each one of them would of thought of themselves as destined for greater things. Maybe 20mil is our ceiling as players above that only will want to go to big clubs and we should be operating to 15mil below.
  11. My wish list on the HCDTJFU thread for 3 positions = 43 million Euro's or 1 Lucas Morua or 36.3 million pounds
  12. I'd like a CM that can do what Morgan does, Jack just doesn't score at all and whilst he is vital to the progress we made this season that was primarily because our lack of depth meant he improved the team immeasurable as soon as he came in. He's a solid midfielder but not a top one neither is davis. If we are striving to improve towards european contention then we have to improve the team no matter how we feel and I would get a goal scoring replacement for what jack does and know we can rotate this new guy as a starter with both Jack and Morgan through the season with davis/jwp off the bench.
  13. Right since i have time to waste i decided to scope for players who are highly rated this season by Whoscored.com and look at key positions of RM, CB and another possible of All Round midfielder who can fill both Jack/Morgans roles. I haven't seen any of these players on tv so I will be interested if anyone follows these leagues if the below aligns with what you've seen. My top picks are based on a few factors, its got to be within the realms of possibility (ie taking into account our "new" cash amount for this season but not messi or some other known superstar or are from Italian/Spanish leagues where wages are reduced even though they play for big teams), average rating over the season 7+, 26yrs or under, they have to be able to be incorporated into our style of play (i.e know how to press and keep possession) and their strengths are the skills we need in that position (cross or through balls etc). For a comparison on the ratings our highest rating player this season is Morgan on 7.25 and only him and ricky are over 7 as their average rating. Right Midfielder - Upgrade on Punch Patrick Ebert (Current - Valladoloid, Previous - Hertha Berlin) - German Age: 26 Market Value - 3 Million Euro's (transfermarkt) Average Rating this season- 7.56 Key Strengths: Crossing - Very Strong Key passes - Strong Direct free kicks- Strong Taking set-pieces - Strong Through balls - Strong Holding on to the ball - Strong Style of Play - Likes to play long balls Likes to shoot from distance Likes to do layoffs Likes to cross Plays the ball off the ground often Comments: Has injury record before this season, no injuries in this current season and has performed well against Madrid and Barcelona (http://www.whoscored.com/Players/13750) Centre Back Upgrade on Jose/Jos - Ball playing CB Andrea Ranocchia (Current - Inter, Previous Bari & Genoa) - Italian Age: 25 Market Value - 16-18 Million Euro's (transfermarkt) Average Rating this season- 7.45 Key Strengths: Aerial Duels - Strong Passing - Strong Blocking the ball - Strong Tackling - strong Style of Play - Likes to dribble Likes to tackle Comments: No significant weakness or injury record and Poch could already know a great deal about him from Walter Samuel, italian CB grow on tree's over there so think Inter could sell and wages wise we could probably provide a decent increase. (http://www.whoscored.com/Players/27421/) The Complete All Round Midfielder upgrade on Jack as he doesn't score enough, this guy is my fancy buy who can also fill in for morgan. Arturo Vidal (Current - Juventus, Previous - Bayern Leverkusen and Colo Colo) - Chilean (plays for the national team under Sampoli another Biesla disciple) Age: 25 Market Value - 26 Million Euro's (transfermarkt) yes I know but this is a assuming we now have lots of cash to spend purchase and Juventus would spend money on a fancy upgrade elsewhere. Average Rating this season- 7.74 Key Strengths: Finishing - Very Strong Tackling -Very Strong Passing - Strong Through balls - Strong Key passes - Strong Taking set-pieces - Strong Aerial Duels - Strong Defensive contribution - Strong Style of Play - Likes to do layoffs Likes to play short passes Likes to tackle Likes to cross Comments: This is an aspirational one as there are lots of assumptions here but with 10 goals in serie a and 8 assists this guy seems like the complete midfielder who loves the defensive side of things. Maybe a stretch but if we really do have lots of cash then he is one (based on stats) that I would like to fill Jack's role. (http://www.whoscored.com/Players/25008)
  14. I thought we all agreed you bathed with your father-in-law tokes and he liked to whack one off if he bathed in public or did I dream that ? Am missing the yo's yo, bring back the socially inept inbred bear.
  15. Just found Bearsy and Tokes love child Is this how the mods informed Bearsy of the news ?
  16. The Pochettino Effect: Not sure if its been posted or where to put this but another good analysis of out tactics and its impact yo http://www.whoscored.com/Blog/tjb0yuknkushnij09yxd_q/Show/Team-Focus-Southampton-Benefitting-From-Pochettinos-High-Pressing-Game
  17. Time for a big gay bear avatar for this bum in.
  18. Woah, tokes makes more sense and is funnier on twitter than here.
  19. Yo I fink I found somefing that can sort of explain this misalignment and its all about interpretation. "Comedy is not a science, it's art. Therefore there are no rules and it can be very subjective. What one person finds funny another might cringe at." The mods have just tried to constrain art yo ! What next Sistine Chapel gets torn down as it didn't have the right planning permission yo ?
  20. Maybe he could get laid in a brothel yo and the dumb mods didn't want this to get out yo!
  21. yo , I is in yo Found bearsy's avi for when he is cruising on gay bear sites yo. Think this was when he was going through his things up bum phase. I've got infractions to burn as never had one.
  22. I have to say I admire all 3 levels within the football club with regards to the issue as it is very rare principals and objectives override the bucket loads of cash that corrupt most ideals in football. Cortese for wanting to continue his vision, he's not stupid he knows the trust wants a return on any outlay as any reasonable business should and isn't settling for mediocrity as a goal in the premier league. MP for again not letting self interest cloud his principals, he was sold on the plan, the chairman and the project, if that changes then the plan and project changes and he walks. The players as they were sold on the project, have in the majority signed up for the best years of the footballing life to be a part of this project, if that changes why shouldn't they exercise their options.
  23. Obligatory youtube [video=youtube_share;VEcZAtjkIZI]http://youtu.be/VEcZAtjkIZI
  24. I see most of us are looking at midfielders or forwards so I thought i would post a CB who i like the look of and is highly rated by Inter a team who can't turn down cash for decent players. Andrea Ranocchia - CB Inter 25yrs old. http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/andrea-ranocchia/profil/spieler_44327.html and according to who scored has no known weaknesses http://www.whoscored.com/Players/27421/
