I know its all gone quiet since his virus and short loan spell at Stoke but would Koeman go for Guidetti who scored 20 goals as a 19yr old for him. 22 yr old now and according to transfermarkt since then his market value has halved due to the injury and lack of impact at stoke (not his style of team). Isn't there some sort of wise coaching maxim about never signing a player off a good national tournament, something about trusting your scouting network etc. I would assume that if we do sign someone from this cup its because we have been tracking them a long time. Think old Arshavin is a prime example of a good tournament from the euro's. That being said, anyone who has been described as either "a beast" or "class" I can get on the bandwagon with ;-)
