I'm hearing he's just injured himself in doing so and will be out for the season. (Jokes)
-
He's such a moron. He also has this look on the Football League show of bitter resentment and for the life of me I don't know where it comes from. Strange, nonsensical man.
-
Urgh. Was it done in that whiney voice he does when he gets animated? Can't stand him.
-
Looking forward to hearing about Ben Reeves. Not a prospect I've heard an awful lot about, sounds like he's being tested with a view to a place in the squad for this season. Not so excited about Forecast.
-
I think it already has, some sources are saying it'll be in excess of that when add-ons are activated, but there's nothing concrete. Put it this way - I didn't like us spending the £7 million or so we did back in 06/07. I wouldn't want us to spend that amount of money in this division again. Sounds about right. Huddersfield did spend an awful lot.
-
As kind as your offer is, I'm going to turn it down and suggest you don't HAVE to read all the posts on this thread, and you certainly don't have to comment. When your modicum of intelligence improves, we might resume converging. Until then, toodle-pip.

The two aren't really fair comparisons. What was the top fee we spent in League One - was it Lambert for a million? Matt Mills has just signed for five times that. If we had spent that kind of money in League One, yes, I would have had a problem with it actually. Does Sven even have a budget I wonder. Perhaps its just a case of him saying 'we want XYZ' and they pay whatever. Certainly seems that way.

Someone needs to calm down and have a nice cup of shut the hell up.

Leicester ought to look at last season. For me, the strongest squad by far was Cardiff's. They had some very good players in that team and probably on the face of it underachieved. It requires more than an expensively assembled team to escape this division. QPR had a team of grafters - the likes of Derry and Hill. Norwich didn't have a brilliant team if you ask me. They will need a lot more than big earners and a big name manager to achieve promotion.
-
It really does seem as if someone behind the scenes doesn't rate him all that highly.
-
I always thought Richard Wood was a decent player, if we're going to be vultures over the soon to be decaying corpse that is Coventry City.
-
It was doing no harm to you, so why complain? I'm not going to go on a thread you like and say I'm in favour of closing it simply because I don't like the quality of the posts. Surely you objecting to it was overreacting...?
-
Absolutely. I stick by my claim, despite the protestations of a certain facetious poster, that he is the worst player I've seen, certainly in the past four years or so.
-
Given a handful of people have now said they want it open, perhaps it'll be reopened. After all, a handful of people wanted it closed. Good work team!
-
It's not a criticism, I have no issue with it, I'm just curious to know why.
-
I would like to know why we reveal our kit so late in pre-season. Seems like almost everyone else knows theirs way in advance.
-
Indeed, and when pressed about this 'transfer acquisition committee', David Pleat got quite narked off on Radio Five Live, saying Billy Davies had been given a hell of a lot of money and not delivered. McClaren has little option but to stay really. Not unless he wants his reputation over here to take another nosedive.
-
As bad as that? Dear me. I knew he was staying behind to make signings but I was told by a guy who does the press up there that he's been blocked whenever he's tried to sign someone.
-
I've heard today that McClaren is already losing his patience with the Nottingham Forest board. They have said however a signing will be made by the end of today.
-
My housemates were watching that earlier this year. There were mixed opinions. Tomorrow I'll be watching All the President's Men. Not seen it, heard a lot about it, nice and journalism-y.
-
It is more than fair though to say a lot of people have jumped the gun and said just because a player is a Southampton fan they'll fit right in.
-
Not really sure what was so 'successful' about his time at Kansas City.
-
Exactly. Craig David isn't expecting to get a run out any time soon is he?
-
Yes, I was very disappointed to see the thread go. It hadn't been brilliant lately, but it did have some value to it. Why am I disappointed then? Well, out of 3307 'active members', a handful of people wanted it closed and it was closed. This isn't alternative vote. There were probably more people that wanted it kept open. I don't really want to support or condemn the banning of Hypochondriac, but he was a sensible poster believe it or not, and had he not started a new thread on it, someone else would have. I'm not against the idea of a rumours forum, but since such a thing hasn't been implemented, why can't we start a new rumours thread? It shouldn't have been closed, in my opinion. Are we going to see posts deleted because a set of people or a moderator deems them not to be valuable or repetitive? If so then certain people are going to be in trouble. I know who I'd want to see banned in that case...
