well, for one thing, Thomas is widely thought to have done a very good job ar RB. And the fact that he is on top money is not really his fault. Shocking treatment? Pardew has looked to have made a good decision SG has been way off the pace. Hopefully he will come back from Donny ready to grab a place in our team.

will be a very sad day when it goes. My sports mad grandfather had to wait till he retired to get a ST at the Dell as he worked every Saturday on the football Echo.

I shall be happier when we are off the bottom. Happier still when out of the bottom 4. Much happier when we get into the top half. And THEN we can start looking at the playoffs. If I was looking now, I would be noticing that the top 5 ALL have promtion form , IE 2 points a game. That really can't last can it?

stood in the middle of a few hundred Wrexham fans at Bristol city in an epic 4-4 cup tie.The wrexham fans were VERY loud.

any footballer worth his salt wants a shot at the PL, and not just for the money. its not always the best option though.
-
Still, at least the new regime have recognised what a great fanbase they have. Certainly a solid base to start filling farton for some of the bigger games.
-
and why would they leave SAF as executive chairman and with 10%- when as everyone knows the club was on the brink of admin. Why would you do that? For my money SAF was used all the way through by the "new" consortium, although not sure how.

aside from the question of whether we can get enough points, I really don't want to think of the Saints as the chelsea of L1, or anywhere else for that matter ! Makes me feel bad all over!!!! back to the question, it would just be brilliant to be going into the spring with an outside chance of the playoffs. But its all a long way off yet. The very idea of Saints winning more than half their remaining games takes some getting used to after the last few years.

as someone else suggested with the Hull example, it is often having a great run at the right time that counts. We need to take one step at a time, but there is every reason to hope that, come feb/march ,we might be in a position where a great run would nick us a place in the playoffs.(keeping our season alive at least) However that is a long way off, for now we need to be patient and stay behind the team. They are at least playing some entertaining stuff and scoring goals, even if there is much yet to do.
-
If by feb /march we are still in with just a slim possibility of the playoffs it will at least keep the season alive, which would be great. But thats a long way off yet, and steady progress will do for now.

noisier groups moved round the Dell over the years. -
Much of our best stuff was with him on the ball. If we can use him right we will get a lot out of hiim

Every team we have played has given us one big lesson- and that lesson is that you have to BUILD teams, and it takes time. We as fans, and the club, have to be patient. There is 5 years of shambles to sort out, and bringing in a few decent players is just a start. The team HAS come a long way since the Milwall game .but there is work to do and we need to trust AP to get it right.
-
Good things. At last we played some really good stuff against a decent team. We might easily have wrapped the game up. Bad things. Our midfield just cannot cope with tough direct opposition when we don't have the ball- and we are positively weak defensively on the flanks. Lallana and Papa left Harding badly exposed, and THAT was with a 5 man midfield. For all that lallana is a terrific ball player he typifies us.He scored on goal, but then cost us one.

to answer my own question, looks like you can. 4 or 3 go for the price of 2.

Can you do groupsave on the train from London?

Loved the 3-2 win on the Easter Saturday. 3 wins and 15 goals(in total) on that weekend. Happy days.

So, why DID Mark Fry prefer Pinnacle over Liebherr?

If I had to guess, I would say that LC paid out 2 or 300K, secured against Dyer/Surman/DNG Transfers. Just a guess mind. Does anyone know if he ever saw any money back? -
whatever happens in the Northam, its clear that cheaper pricing in the Chapl is working- good numbers in there now- so it would be a shame to change that.
-
I am going to let you in on a big secret. Use the Portswood bypass. No probs at all getting in or out.
-
having a solid back 4 gives us a great base to work from. Better passing and teamwork will come over time, especially if we get more adventurous at home. Notr playing Mills today was a bit of an odd one, maybe carrying a knock? Think Harding might be helped by having Mills or Holmes playing regularly in front of him. Although lallana has had a decent season till now, perhaps he needs to be rested or used differently. Far too little threat from out wide today, especially in the first hour.
-
had a perfect view of the second. definitely hit his arm and took a deflection. Would have been a bit upset if it was given against us though. FWIW I shouted for a handball!!
-
the return of proper regular saturday reserve team football would stop most of this stuff!!!

Most football in England is pricey. Look at some conference prices, (Salisbury £14). Ours really aren't too bad by comparison. If you are prepared to sit in the Chapel, you can get in for a single match for £19. Its about par for the level we are at. FWIW I think the club should premium price the best tickets, and discount elsewhere.Good business.
