  1. Give us an example then.
  2. Alex Smithies pushing Bart and Kelvin Sean St Ledger in the middle with Fonte - Martin & Seabourne for the future Nigel Reo-Coker or Jack Cork or both! To push morgan and chaplow - hammond could be surplus to requriements... Michail Antonio - interchangable with oxo Anthony Pilkington - ditto lallana Robert Earnshaw - different dimension to what we already have Plus a decent right back. Havn't figured that out yet...
  3. Becasue the skates wrote off their debts to everyone else!
  4. Muppet: puncheon?
  5. Exactly right. If his injuries are behind him, he could be a huge asset. I for one am really hoping we see the best of him next season.
  6. Bang on. Therefore i expect a promotion push after some careful strenthening and tweaking of our existing squad - wholesale changes will not be required but there may be a couple of marquee signings possibly. Due to having a settled backroom setup this time around we can get in early for the best that is available on a free - getting to the prem does not have to cost tens of millions like some people think!
  7. first and foremost we pick at the carcasses of the teams that get relegated from the Prem (Fire sales), Champ (Players not wanting to play in g L1) and teams that failed to make it up from the L1 Playoffs (PLayers demanding a chance at a higher level). There will be some cracking players available from teams like: West Ham, Sheff Utd, Preston, Huddersfield, Peterborough, Scunny, Wigan, Blackpool & Wolves. There will be other teams lacking on funds who have to cash in on hot prospects, make sure we're first in the queue!
  8. I completely agree with the above. I was making reference to the assertion that we should judge Nigel on the strength of the players he signs next year and that Pardew was the messiah in the transfer market.
  9. Given that the club is currently operating at a loss he can hardly be criticised.
  10. Buying players is a collective effort from the scouting network at the club and the manager is just one person who has a say in it.
  11. Or even from Lambert...
  12. Lallana for me is far more important. As far as potential goes, it's anyones guess - injuries may be the deciding factor. I'd agree that lallana is our best player since Le tiss, but between those two there is no comparison - Le tiss was one of those once in a lifetime players.
  13. Not being funny, but unless it comes from the club doctor / physio i still wouldn't take that as gospel.
  14. i'll go get my razor then!
  15. So is it confimed that Barney is out? Or are we just slitting wrists willy nilly?
  16. my school in basingstoke was full of ****s pretending to be hard. If you need to tell people how hard you are, you clearly aren't!
  17. But he might like porridge.
  18. i'm getting racing tips!?
  19. Nope, but i have heard it more that i should about Kelvin Daivs
  20. kelvin beaten at the near post, where have i heard that before?
  21. wwwwwwwwooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
  22. Did anyone see him joinning in with the goal celebrations against bournemouth. I think it was hammonds goal, he was elbow dropping the mass of bodies on the floor - that was funny, but he's a big unit and could have done some damage!!
  23. now is the time to "buy" Craig Mackail-Smith from Peterborough on and loan and agreement to buy in the summer. They will be our biggest threat for 2nd place. Strengthen our team and weaken them
  24. so anyway, why was he there?
