Also, bear in mind that yesterday's income was additional revenue from a cup game that would not have been factored into pre-season forecasts (like all cup games). BONUS!

There were 20,446 people at SMS yesterday. It was the 5th highest attendance out of the 14 FA Cup fixtures played. We had a bigger gate than Bolton, Cardiff, Derby, Poopey, Reading, West Brom and Wolves. We had nearly double Poopey's attendance (10,315). That equates to a revenue of approx £350,000 which we would have split 50/50 with Ipswich. That means we earned £175,000 (before deductions) which would have just about paid for Lee Barnard in full.
