Silly answer to a serious question. We are constantly being told that we are at war, but when was there a declaration?

That's funny. I don't remember any declaration of war by us or anyone else. All wars have a beginning. When did this 'war' begin?

When I was queuing to buy my tickets there were very few people at the collections window. The people that were collecting tickets were doing so far quicker than those buying. There was no error on the part of the ticket office management people, but rather those fans who didn't arrive early enough.

The precedent has already been set. It is illegal to protest within half a mile of the palarse of Westminster without police permission. How long before other 'sensitive' areas are included?

Was the Chapel closed? I hadn't noticed. I experienced no traffic problems and no parking problems. I arrived at SMS at 1.30pm, queued for about 5 minutes to buy my ticket, and got it for £10 and not £18. No problems. I can't understand what everyone is whining about.

DNA evidence is far from being the infallible crime fighting tool that we all think it is. I have heard of instances where criminals have taken DNA material from others and left it at crime scenes. Drug addicts have been known to take another addicts used syringe (which contains blood - DNA material) and deposit this DNA material at the scene of a burglary. Now I'm sure most of you wouldn't give a stuff about drug addicts leaving each others DNA at crime scenes, but what if criminals collect DNA material from other sources? Do you have any idea how much of your own DNA you leave lying around during an average day? On the train. On the bus. In the pub. At work. It just needs a criminal to pick up a few of your hairs after you've left the pub and deposit them at a crime scene and you're nicked! And if you don't have an alibi, what are a potential jury going to think? Your DNA is at the scene of the crime, you have no alibi = GUILTY?!?! All of the above is happening right now - FACT.

Not forgetting more league goals than anyone else in the 92.

I wanted to add best re-issue of 2009 which has to be The Soft Machine - 'The Soft Machine Volume 1'. This has finally been remastered and presented on it's own, rather than coupled with Volume 2. A classic slice of psychedelia by a truly inspirational band. This is in my all time top 10, it p1sses all over 'Piper at the Gates of Dawn'.
