And this time it's in a really good way.
I made it to Stonehenge festie as a day tripper in '84 (too young to make the earlier ones). I have many friends who were at the Beanfield.
I went to Glastonbury before it dissolved into the corporate suckfest that it has now become and was lucky enough to be at the last great truly anarchic festival: Treworgey Tree Fayre, 1989.
Some good musical choices there.
Space Ritual is a great album, but personally I prefer Hawkwind's "Live at Stonehenge".
It is quite rare these days, but can be picked up from ebay or similar sites.
I have a copy on vinyl that was part of a Hawkwind picture disc box set, and a copy on CD that I picked up on ebay for about £20.
It is worth getting the album purely for "Levitation", which, IMHO is the best live tune ever recorded.
