I wanted to add best re-issue of 2009 which has to be The Soft Machine - 'The Soft Machine Volume 1'. This has finally been remastered and presented on it's own, rather than coupled with Volume 2. A classic slice of psychedelia by a truly inspirational band. This is in my all time top 10, it p1sses all over 'Piper at the Gates of Dawn'.

I agree 100%. It really has nothing to do with ML or NC. But the question remains, and those who are ultimately accountable should provide a breakdown of how the monies were used.

I quite enjoyed this, but I have to agree about the Dr Who thing. I kept expecting David Tennant to appear and save the day.

There are very few people in the world who don't know right from wrong. Are you suggesting that 'mental illness' should only be used as a defence by a tiny percentage of sociopaths? The inference is that if someone is not one of these very rare people then they are healthy enough to be executed. In so doing you are precluding millions of people who suffer with other mental health issues, such as paranoid schizophrenia, from having a fair trial. When all is said and done killing someone is wrong, whether it is as a crime or a punishment.

Let's face it, without the Chinese there wouldn't be much of a global economy. Yes, the British government will protest in 'the strongest possible terms' and the Chinese will respond by saying it's none of our business and that will be an end to it. Then it will be business as usual.
