  1. BoB on Blu Ray is stunning. I lent it to my boss about a year ago and he still han't returned it. What a ****.
  2. WUM.
  3. Aphrodite's Child - "End of the World".
  4. Hilarious! AP plays 4-5-1 and everyone wants 4-4-2. AP plays 4-4-2 and everyone wants 4-5-1.
  5. Thatcher isn't looking too good these days.
  6. What a legend!
  7. Thanks Special K. I called the mix '3 phase' and tried to create an electric whole from 3 distinct phases, separated by skits. After an introduction the theme was on an old school beat digger tip, this was followed by some of the artists who were influenced by those soul beats. To finish...... a small platter of lightly fried nuggets that I hoped would appeal to all, and a JB outro with a Saints theme. Yes, pretentious twaddle, but I enjoyed putting it together. I started DJing 20 years ago and still get a buzz from music. The best thing about the SWF mixtapes is hearing new tunes and in some cases turning on to new genres. I really enjoyed Rattlehead's mixtape because it was so different from the kind of stuff I would normally listen to. It has spurred me on to broaden my musical horizons even more. I'm hoping that Rattlehead and Manji might get together and provide a beginner's guide of essentials for me. I really hope that Deppo, and Harvey both do a mixtape...... they are always listening to some pretty awesome tunes!
  8. I am online fodder.
  9. Julian Cope - "Love, Peace & F*ck". I am loving this, a bit of a departure from what I'm used to, but I could get into more of this kind of madness.
  10. Block 5

    Twilight

    Agreed.
  11. Who got that money?
  12. AP covered this during the fans' forum. If Adam sticks with us for a while he has a very good chance of actually winning something and of gaining promotion. AP made the valid point that many players go through their whole careers without winning a medal or being in a side that gets promoted. Adam has more chance of experiencing real success by staying put for a while. Or he could go to Sunderland, Birmingham, Spuds etc and warm the bench and win feck all.
  13. A great account Phil. Thanks for taking the time to share with the rest of us.
  14. I'm sure I remember a ref applauding MLT when he hit a volley from the half way line straight from a keeper's goal kick. The keeper (can't remeber who...anyone help?) managed to stumble back and tip it over the bar. The ref tapped his hand against his leg a few times in recognition of the most amazing shot! If it had gone in it would have been the greatest goal ever!
  15. I love it when we get higher attendances in league 1 than our fish fiddling neighbours down the road get in the Prem.
  16. All peers should be rounded up and boiled in oil......Mawhinney first!
  17. I agree Pele. I hate seeing players mouth off at the ref........that's MY job!
  18. I totally agree 100%. Offside = offside. End of discussion.
  19. And isn't it bloody brilliant that here we are, more than 40 years later, debating an event that we didn't even witness. (Sorry Whitey, I'm making an assumption that you weren't actually at Wembley, but of course you may have been.) I wasn't even born! You say it didn't matter because we won 4-2.......unless you have live in a parallel universe where the lino ruled that it wasn't a goal, you wouldn't know what the subsequent events would have been. One thing is for sure.......that somewhere in a parallel universe some saints fans on an internet forum are discussing that Russian lino's decision.
  20. Hmmm....Rugger and cricket..... both non-stop yawn-a-thons!
  21. You have unwittingly proved my point. 30th July 1966.......Wembley Stadium..... Did the ball cross the line? Wouldn't life be dull if a piece of software had ruled that the ball did not cross the line. TV technology will kill real football.
  22. Cheerio cheerio cheerio etc etc.
  23. Oh God!!! 'The technology in football debate.' I go to football to be entertained. And poor referees and linos provide part of that entertainment. We all spend a lot of time hurling abuse at the officials......and we love doing it. Now where would the fun be, if you had to wait for a computer to tell you if a ball crossed the line, or if a player was offside? .......please wait....loading...... Jog on! I love sh1t refs and linos....... This whole technology in football issue is for the armchair fans sat at home watching on TV.......Personally, I shall be at the game shouting at the ref, informing him to wake up or feck off!
  24. I tried to get 5 tickets in the Northam today. Not a chance. Had to go for block 35 (as Let's B Avenue said in earlier posts).
  25. I'm glad Southend managed to get out of the sh1t before they started to drown in it.
