I went the last week in August and the first week in September and the weather was perfect for lazing on the beach eating some of the finest seafood i have ever had.I will agree that swimming in the surf was great fun due to the fact it did on occasions get 'breezy'. We had a static caravan at at a lovely sight in soulac and travelled to places from there. When you head down south, especially Avignon, which is lovely, you get the mistral winds which are fierce at times. I found Soulac, and the surrounding area, all i wanted for some lazy time, good food, bars and not too busy with tourists. My French girlfriend at the time recommended it as she had been before and it was where the French went instead of the mainstream 'beach resorts' populated with tourists. I flew into Bergerac and visited her family in Villneauve sur lot, went to Archachon(sp) then Bordeaux, took in some footie whilst there!,was a superb area to visit.

Of course, if it had been classic G'n'R that would be a different story as they were iconic in the studio and awsome live....but don't knock the new incarnation. Chinese democracy was a pretty damn fine album, imo.

The skates in gosport were very dismayed to see the front page of the sun on display in ASDA this morning. I for once took the gamble and wore my shirt whilst out, usually greeted with veiled threats to give me a slap, however a fair few people said congrats for yesterday and said it was a good game and nice to see a south coast club do well. Certainly surprised me. -
Probably would not have tucked it away so confidently as Lambert though.

Talksport is bloody awful the majority of the time, imo. Irani/Brazil and the 'moose' just talk over each other constantly and it's usually drivel anyhow. Mostly showing off who got invited to what freebie event. Brazil constantly drops the hint he is ITK but actually knows feck all. Irani is thick as ****.full stop, just panders in agreement to whatever a guest says. Talking prvocative bollix to get a reaction, and some fall for it. Parry is a ****. Only shows worth a listen are, strangly enough, the ones with no connection to discussion on sporting topics.

Antibes is very, very, nice. Maybe slightly different is Soulac, wonderful place with a stunning beach. Also as mentioned, the Dune de Pyla is well worth a visit.

They should be at that price. -
The boos were very audible from block 120,i can assure you. And they were directed it seems at Cortese. As soon as the big screen moved from Mr Liebherr to Cortese the cheers changed to boos. This was very early on in the proceedings.

Leaving at 8am,parking at Osterley tube station. Either Osterley to Rayners lane on the Piccadilly line then onto the Metropolitan line to Wembley park or Osterley to Green Park and change onto the Jubilee line upto Wembley Park. Not much difference in both time wise really.More stops the green park route but they are much closer together and more frequent being more 'in town'

I can't bloody wait. Should be a blinding day out. After all the crap we have had to put up with the last few years this season has been a breath of fresh air. Let's top it off with lifting a trophy at wembley, then look too what appears to be a very promising and bright future.

3 points is all important. Bring on Wembley.
