'its all fluid' one of my favourite phrases thought out the saga.....and a great get out clause.

Whatever NC released about his leaving is one thing....we are talking about the spat with ex footballers.....so keep it on topic,and one of those ex footballers couldn't wait to have a dig at any opportunity. NC had his spin machine in overdrive the last few days.....but not continually during his tenure.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of the saga ,the only ones constantly sniping at every opportunity...like Le Tissier on SSN moments ago, are the aforementioned players and the family members....dragging it on and on. NC made mistakes upset people and so on apparently...but he didn't harm the club...the childish sniping does. As I say I thank MLG and Franny for some past footballing memories...but that is exactly what they are past memories,Cortese was the here and now.and did a great job. The way the LeTissier and Benali households have greeted the news of Cortese leaving has been childish to put it mildly. the main protagonist have kept the powder dry to a degree,however some of the family's comments are disgusting. Legends on the pitch......not so much off it. Glad ad they relish in the instability heaped upon SFC....to suit their own selfish agendas.

Thanks mr Cortese,the right decisions at the right time,superb leadership throughout his tenure ship. He's been brilliant. Horrible scenes in the chapel as a person has a heart attack and requires resuscitation. Hats off the stewards,quite a task organising people to be reseated whilst paramedics try to do thief job. He has the full backing of Nicola Cortese and other influential parties. He is under no illusion however,if he falters in his remit,his position will be reviewed. He's under constant pressure. What I like about Pochettino is he is not afraid to make changes,either from the start of the game...or more importantly during the game...that completely catches the opposition off guard. May seem strange to us at times...but also to the opposition,ok against villa we lost but completely dominated....today...we are battering the toon as I type. Brave at times,some will see as mistakes....but a damn good manager...he won't be perfect all the time but something of an enigma.for want of a better word.
