Every side has a rough patch,this is ours. We dominated,we didn't play poorly....injuries are now taking its toll. We are not in a privileged position like some other clubs to have a truly superb squad that has quality to come off from the bench and as replacements. Some seem to think,due to our fantastic start and all the plaudits we have recieved,that any slip up is inexcusable and readily point finger at individual players,Christ some of these players were in Lge 1 and championship a short while ago. We gained the plaudits because this was realised by pundits and professional in the game. Mistakes will be made by the management and players....I don't like it,but we are excelling. Just to let you know,Rickie lambert and Adam Lallana will be on goals on Sunday apparently.

Ok we did not have Lovren last season........but my god Adkins ballsed up our defence and goalkeeper positions last season. indecision by him would be a huge factor. otherwise he did ok,in his tenure.

Cortese is the the reason we are where we are are now. his decision making has been exemplary. both on the field and off it. Pardew..did what was in his remit...... Adkins...did what was in his remit.... Pochettino,thus far...fulfilling his remit. brave decisions have been made...but all correct.

We are simply marvellous at the moment. Pochettino deserves all the plaudits,he really has taken us up a level,well done MR Cortese for having the foresight to get him in at exactly the right time. is it wrong to not want to qualify for the Europa League though?........I want us to obviously finish as high as possible,but it's highly unlikely we will qualify for anything more than that competition. actually...hold on what am I saying......it would be great to be in Europe instead of what became a regular relegation dogfight when we were in the top flight. anyway long way to go this season....who knows what wil transpire.
