saint lard replied to Batman's topic in The Saints
Very much in this camp. 3 saints players got to the WC....likely none are really saints player when it kicks off. They will just be England internationals that play for another lge club. No affinity to them whatsoever. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
It's going to be Murat Yakin. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Klinsmann remains my favourite option, followed by Roberto Di Mateo. No one else really inspires me I'm afraid. Well anyone that is a plausible acquisition. . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Is it wrong for me to hope he fails miserably at Spurs if/when he goes there.? We really have made a big mistake I letting him go. My faith in the hierarchy at saint will have been severely dented. Sometime I hate football....we pay the money, but have no say... We Re the lifeblood of any club. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This could get messy.....so Luke Shaw phones him and treats him like a second father...and he would reject Man UTD if he was still here?......actually the latter I could believe. He go to Chelsea. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Well you are onto a loser straightaway I'm afraid. Prepare to be disappointed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

1year deal only.....perhaps Katrina doesn't want to saddle any new owners with a long binding contract. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In the statement reference Sherwood leaving by Spurs, they emphasise the fact they have some great young talent coming through......anyone know a current manager that excels at bringing the youngsters through the club and not afraid to throw them in the 1st team? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you class Pochettino as the messiah.....yes Although many predicted Adkins as the second coming.....how wrong they were. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

He is desperate to stay at Juve.......not likely though. Rumour has it he will be at St Mary's today.....under orders from above. Would love to se him flourish here. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

If you really think that Nicola Cortese has the time, desire and hatred towards Southampton FC and it's owners to 'plant' unsettling stories in the media you really are deluded.......he's moved on. He loves this club.....but not so much he wants to damage it in the process. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

It was never a grudge,it was my strong belief of his lack of ability and recognise his shortcomings, and to stand up for that in the face of derision from all on here. There's a big difference in that and a grudge. He will be a steady lower league manager....not what many where hailing him during his tenure here, completely over the top love in with him. He did his job here....just. It should have been a lot easier than he made it look. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Yep when he rears his head.....and I was right all along. Best decision Cortese ever made....getting rid....should've been done sooner. I'm sure you all still disagree with me as vehemently as before? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Ha ha ha Nigel Adkins. The man that cannot be criticised finishes the bridesmaid again,to Brighton. He really was so overhyped it was unbelievable. Two great squads at his disposal and sneaks over the line with us and fails with Reading. He fell on his feet with us and is really being found out now. Atleast we won't have to listen to his clichéd crap on Match of the day just yet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

He was on Sunday elected the keeper in the second-best English series for the second season in a row, and Leicester were unstoppable Championship, so they are now ready for the Premier League next season. But Kasper knows what he gets from us, and the important role he has in the Premier League. We can only hope makes the difference, says Pearson told the BBC. Arsenal's Arsene Wenger is looking for a solid goalie that can threaten first keeper Wojciech Szczęsny. This summer slips both Łukasz Fabiański and Emiliano Viviano. What a load of tripe that turned out to be eh. He's just in the pay off places as it stands......ask some Reading fans and many think he has underachieved with what he has at his disposal.atleast they have not been hoodwinked like many on here. If by some miracle Reading go up....he will be gone again..back to the lower leagues and obscurity. Just like here,he did the bare minimum with an excellent squad. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
