Good thread, this forum is turning as negative as the Echo!!! and I honestly see no reason why, I have not paid the 5 pounds again because of this. I feel that we are all going to see an amazing season I really really do and I am so excited, with everything that is going on HOW can people think NC is similar to Lowe but with backing, I honestly think your muppets. Theo was 17 and for me had too much pressure put upon him, he has scored some great great goals but does not play enough. I know MLT said he should not go for this very reason but when your 17 and people show you the money what would you do. I believe he has a future but to leave to play for a 'smaller' club or a club where he plays often and with an Alex Ferguson type mentor to help him develope he will be a great player. I personally I think he has got worse, and rightly should not be at the world cup but remember he is 21.

I feel really sorry for him and completely blame Arsenal, I really hope he tells Wenger to F**k off and go somewhere where he will get 1st team football, and don't forget he is only 21. Sadly I fear he shows too much respect for others other than for himself. I do wish him well though.

To be fair, when I was in the army, one of my Captin's could be 'very rude and arrogant' but looking back they made the LAD work the hardest, and other that you were more comfortable under we would not. I have a great deal of confidence in NC and I do belive people in these positions should command respect in order to keep staff on there toes and demand high standerds in whatever they may do. The amount of hours it sounds like puts into the club make me think that he does not expect anything that he would not do himself.

I think AP will stay, I really think that he is excited by the future at Southampton and now has a pre-season with a team HE has put together and it can only get better. I was very impressed with the young full back and OC did great when he came on in the last 15min. NC saved our club, I can't thank him enough and I'm sure he will want to keep AP.

There manifesto clearly states they want to join the euro, when DC said this NC denies and said no plans to join the euro because he knows the public don’t want it. My last post, it has been in the papers though but with all the Clegg hype the BBC are not so much treating him as a politician but a celebrity, which is wrong. The only balanced news I watch is channel 4 (who also picked up on it as well as well as scrutinising all 3 MP's on the debate). This is not the b**dy X factor, although I do want the future PM to have charisma which I feel both Clegg and Cameron have, but any neutral will have to agree that Brown does not inspire!

Brown has to go end of, Nick Clegg has had a few gaffs and one big lie on the debate regarding the euro!!!

If so I hope its works, even if there are big cut I want our country on the road to recovery, we need a government to make big, hard decisions. I have a little girl and I don't want her in a country that has gone like Greece, soon to be Spain and a few more. The country has to get rid of red take, be more business friendly, cut public sector. If this is not done I would worry about a run on the pound and a downgrade of our credit rateing (which would destroy us). For me I would only be able to trust the Tory party because they have had to do the same thing after rubbish labour governments when rubbish was not being takern and 3 day week. Plus Cameron has said he would fight for the Falklands and I believe the Liberals would let them go.

Because the Torys are the best to tackle the poo we are in, Lib Dems would put up more red tape to business and more tax and we will loose our 3 star credit rating because they are not business friendly the love big government - not good.

Alan Johnson ha ha, def not a future PM I'll vote Tory on the 6th but I feel if Labour are to re-build and I think it will take along time, I'd say Miliband too BUT you will need to find a good chancellor which is rare for Labour as history shows!! Good luck though!!!
