  1. Good, as we don't ant him. Potential but far too inexperienced IMHO.
  2. Which rather does suggest that the truth in this instance is far more convoluted than it being just about money, although I'm quite sure that came into the reckoning.
  3. The truth is no doubt somewhere in the middle. I'm still of the opinion that if RK didn't wish to sign an extension then the club would have replaced him to avoid the "dead duck" scenario.
  4. No one is saying he won't be. However, as many thought, this isn't as clear as the smaller club on the Mersey think.
  5. As you're referring to me and what I wrote on Sotonions I'll post it here so others can read it. You'll notice I say that I've not gone as I didn't want to expose my son to it, and he really wants to go to an international tournament, and that my mates are staying out of the city to avoid the obvious risk of trouble. Those Stokies I know who are out there aren't mates but people who drink in my mates pub. Sort your facts out first before gobbing off as I'm not condoning their actions, which were entirely predictable.
  6. Pretty obvious to anyone what was going to happen down there which is why I told my lad I wouldn't take him and why my mates are staying further up the coast and only travelling into the city today It's an iffy place at the best of times but add in a few 100 England lads hell bent on trouble, Russians and the locals then I'm surprised on how tame it's been so far.
  7. Howe, IMHO, would be a step backwards. Lacks the experience that we need.
  8. Two lazy sunshine rides for me this week as I recover from surgery. 1st a 165km. 100km with some older mates and 65km solo as they started to flag https://www.strava.com/activities/601602762 and a very lazy bimble with an ex-forces oppo today of 95km down to RAF Cosford. https://www.strava.com/activities/603745715 I must be turning gay post surgery as both have involved cafe stops and I never stop! Might try and sneak a flat/quick 75km tomorrow PM as I'm on daddy duty with my girls on Saturday as my lad and Mrs head to Lords.
  9. Believe it or not, he'd be my choice.
  10. What the dippers seem to fail to grasp is that it's not we think Saints are a bigger club than EFC but we don't think either club is a big club.
  11. Within Spain only Barca and both Madrid clubs are bigger stages than Seville so progression wise, unless Simone is to leave, Emery himself needs to move countries. No doubt he'll end up as PSG where the emphasis is on one thing only, winning the UCL, but him coming to England, and a club like Saints, isn't that far fetched.
  12. Put it this way, I'm not as pis_sed off as I was when MP went to Spurs and we knew he was going. IMHO a far superior manager whose teams play the brand of football I love.
  13. Perhaps it's because you're an utter cu_nt to is loving what's happening to justify you're own warped take on the situation after being shown up as a right cu_nt with your whinging and whining and make believe ITK bull when MP left. Go back to sucking Cortese's **** your tw_at.
  14. I'd like to see Cocu at SMS. If we can't tempt him then Tim Sherwood is the man.
  15. They have been quite specific in that it's £100m + all Lukaku money. TBF, they need to spend that much just to make top 6.
  16. Playing devil's advocate here Ron may well feel that he's taken us as far as he can and, TBF, I think I'd agree and this is also the time where his stock is the highest. If he moves, albeit sideways, and improves Everton, having used big money to do so and managed the egos that go with that, he'll have shown that he's ready for a top 4 side or Barca. For Saints what have the Board done wrong? Nothing IMHO. Manager says he's staying but won't pen a new agreement which leaves everyone in limbo. Ok Reed pipes up about contracts etc but really, is that such a big deal saying that we've offered RK a new deal? Manager then decides to leave and the club appoint someone new. To go down the route of offering him the moon on a stick would be foolhardy. I'd like him to stay but we've been just as good for RK as he has been for us and f he goes, then good luck to him, but my life will go on and I'll still support whoever is out on the pitch. The Board have earnt my trust so I'll just sit back as see what happens without stressing.
  17. They are betwix and between a biscuit and a cake.
  18. Have you a link the the Badass as I like the sound of that?
  19. He was there to watch a Dutch striker. Common knowledge.
  20. Bless the young bin-dipper. It's so hard at that age to understand that no one, bar your own fans, view your club as anything above irrelevant in the big scheme of things.
  21. Be very interesting finding out. I can't help but feel that last season was a fluke and that the top 4 will become a closed shop again from 16/17. Hope I'm wrong but don't expect to be.
  22. I've just purchased a smart trainer to aid recovery after surgery. Bloody hell what a great bit of kit, makes Zwift bloody marvelous if tough.
  23. Club don't put out anything and the usual cu_nts start moaning about lack of information just as they did during the meltdown. Club puts something out and the usual cu_nts start moaning about how it's all a lie as it was about MP and Clyne.
  24. Hearts Gent or Lille Schalke or Mainz.
