  1. Excellent. As you've been posting for years I know that you won't whelch on a bet. Do you have a nominated charity just in case a miracle happens?
  2. By box do you mean consumer unit?
  3. He owned nowt, it's the gun runner that's been paid off.
  4. Yes. We are debt free, with a training ground, stadium and a billionaire owner. We all know we won't go down and may yet go up. Can the same be said of you?
  5. I'm sure you'll continue that attitude in the summer.
  6. As my kids and missus love X-Factor they could have had the game on and still kept X-factor in the 8pm time slot. I was looking forward to going to the pubs with my mates to watch it.
  7. Deja Vu:rolleyes:
  8. That's not true IMHO. Good teachers have plenty of respect from their students and that's true for compulsory and post 16, as well as adult (Many generic skills for all sectors as well as specialist for each) Yes you have issue in compulsory (bottom set Y9 were always the worst) but it's offset by the upside. Cr@p (lazy) teachers get no respect, especially from their peers. Some try hard but just haven't got it. Like any job, you get out what you are prepared to put in.
  9. It's just as I want it thank you. Easy filthy lucre from my business and a job I love. Win win for me.
  10. My job as a teacher in FE also gives me enough time to run my own successful business. How I laugh at you minions.
  11. An achieveable target at the moment IMHO. Or do you not see constant improvement since the start of the season and don't think that will continue? Thankfully the players haven't written the season off in the 1st week of October.
  12. Wotton was excellent in the holding role yesterday, it gave the others licence to express themselves and it showed. The best team isn't always made up of the best players.
  13. Obviously not to some though. Miserable fu***** should think back to last season! I, for one, really enjoyed yesterday and can see the progress since the Millwall game. Yes we've a way to go but, for the 1st time in years, we are moving in the right direction. We win 4-1, playing some excellent football (1st 20mins aside) in the process and still the whinging queens aren't satisfied.
  14. Care to have a £10 bet, for a charity, regarding you staying up? You can pay the NSPCC the £10 you will owe me.
  15. I would hope that we all want improvement and for me, I see clear evidence of it on the pitch. We've made huge strides since the Millwall game and you'd have to be blind or Alpine not to see it. Pardew wouldn't have been my 1st choice but it is obvious that he is finally moulding a team that means business. We will only continue to improve and the play offs are a distinct possability as far as I am concerned.
  16. BigTone. The hysterical brigade will be up in arms again and will, yet again, totally miss the point that you are attempting to put across but, they do have a point about the EDL becoming a vehicle for the Far Right.
  17. You had Harry last time to attract players. You won't this time. You'll go down along with Hull and Birmingham.
  18. That is a very fair assessment. "The Hole" suits him.
  19. Hammond was immense in the middle, the sort of player we've been missing for years and Wotton, alongside him, proved to be the perfect destroyer. After the first 20mins I thought we were unplayable. Pressing high up the pitch forced them to give the ball away time after time and when we had it we always had options available. Harding also deserves real praise as he is a proper maurading fullback. Lambert, well, a proper centre forward in the Beattie mould. My nipper and I left sporting huge grins. Long may it continue.
  20. Advice you could well do heeding.
  21. He certainly seems to have bloomed and Lambert and he are certainly forging a great understanding. The current shape of the team suits him. He was wasted out on the wing.
  22. Get over yourself. If you fail to see that only morons would call for change some 10 weeks into a 5 year plan then you clearly fall into the moron bracket. Now, as you're obviously not too sharp on a Sunday morning I'll point out that that is an observation of my own.
  23. That's how I feel as well. With MW1 still offering such great fun and MW2 just over a month away is it going to worth buying Flashpoint?
  24. 10 weeks into a 5 year plan and certain small minded idiots want a change of manager and direction. Usually the same small minded idiots who don't go to games.
  25. I would never have guessed!
