  1. so do the club let him go for £30m just because he wants to go then?
  2. i thought he played with inside forwards and often with a false nine as opposed to CF. not sure he used wingers but relied on the FB getting forward to create overloads out wide. Probably totally wrong but that im expecting us to line up
  3. You could argue that the cash saved on wages plus loan fee could help with players coming. Particularly when in most games a GK of his quality is not needed in the league.
  4. This is the most retarded comment i think i have ever read on this forum. What a bed wetting fanny.
  5. benefits of a tiny stadium close to the pitch with a decent atmosphere. Bit like the dell i think.
  6. thats kind of the same for every club no? they only sign if they dotn have a better option.
  7. Id quite happily him risk a red card by smashing through the back of a pimply player leaving her in a crumpled heap to be honest. Gets the juices flowing in a South coast derby.
  8. Surely we can get a short term GK loan that will cover us for the season. Id rather any cash be spent on a winger / No 10 than keeper. Loan Ramsdale and have him back next season when we are on a European charge
  9. he has played at a decent level of football ill have you know!
  10. clearly just had a better offer from a prem club put to him i guess.
  11. No way anyone buyr that club for $475m. The only value in the club is the owner who leaves with the sale of the club.
  12. Cant see any reason we would sell Downes for £10m. Not a chance.
  13. We renewed and moved on the day they became available.
  14. Oh my what comedy genius. I look forward to the next instalment. These types of comedy post just never get old.
  15. Ha maybe other than that nothing majorly ground breaking other than Wilcox wants dibling at man united, at least £50m if Fernandez is to go but want to keep as key to promotion
  16. I heard after the Everton game from a loose lipped saints director amongst other things that we were after a left footed German CB. Couldn’t be arsed to try and figure out who it could be but this guy fits that description. Doubt there are too many other potential players that it could be.
  17. fuck me you are full of shyte. Someone with knowledge of history surely knows Sheffield United were terrible on 16 points and Burnley not much better on 24. They weren't disasters of a relegation season, no?
  18. Why didn't Burnley or Sheffield United need to reset this season?
  19. To be fair like them or not they are all decent managers and i would expect all of them to sound credible when talking about the game.
  20. Sensible approach but no chance the fan base accepts anything but a a promotion charge in year 1. All sounds a bit West Brom to me with dull football to watch.
  21. What does “stabilise us for a while” actually mean though, Is it sit in the top 8 and don’t spend beyond our means or is it a play off chance or are you wanting promotion? if its promotion then what’s next? Stick with them regardless of whether we stay up or not? Genuine question as people always talk about stabilising and then immediately jump on a managers back when they don’t look like achieving the clubs goals.
  22. If one can’t get a credit card due to their credit rating, why would one want the club give them credit?
  23. So do you have a view on whether Will Still would be a good appointment?
  24. Led the club to relegation and abject failure.
  25. Totally agree it killed us. To a lesser extent losing che on a free that we didn’t replace.
