  1. Exactly this. The UN need to stop with silly sanctions and be realistic about this. If this happened then the problem should be solved.
  2. Excellent. I will be attending. WOuld be good to know the extent of Katherina's continued financial commitment.
  3. Well better that than pushing for world war 3.
  4. If the majority of people who live in crimea want to join Russia then what is the issue?
  5. Why should we do something over anyone else? There is nothing to do, Russia is making Crimea part of their country and we should just accept it and come to some sort of agreement to stop the nonsense.
  6. Almost two years ago now I got defrauded out of money by an individual online. He stole £260 of my money and after reporting the crime, I found out he has done it to a ton of other people (over £15,000 in total.) He is currently in court at the moment in Hertfordshire and is messing the judge around by pleading guilty and then changing his plea at the last minute. Anyway, the policeman I spoke to said I have very little chance of getting my money back and that he is more likely to get a prison sentence rather than being forced to pay the money back. Firstly, I think it is outrageous that someone can do that and not be compelled to pay it back. Even if he pays me a fiver a month, at least I would eventually receive my money. Secondly, I am looking to issue county court proceedings against him but in order to do that I need his address. The policeman in charge of my case tells me that they have his new address now but that they are unable to give it to me and advised that I did a freedom of information request. I got the following reply from Hertfordshire police: With regards to obtaining this information we are not obliged to provide you with this as this is Mr A**** personal information. If you wish to obtain evidence such as a crime report or incident log then you could make a Subject Access Request. Under Section 7 of the Data Protection Act and individual can make a Subject Access Request which gives the individual the right to request a copy or their personal information that an organisation may hold about them. On the other hand if you have a solicitor then they could request this information on your behalf and disclosure will then be considered. With regards to Subject Access Request I have attached the relevant forms So my question is really do I have any other options or do I just have to accept I will not be seeing my money again? I can't afford a solicitor over such a small amount but also I feel it is unfair that the system protects the criminal when all I want to do is get back what I am owed. Any advice?
  7. Fact is, as far as I am aware there aren't people on here (other than maybe yourself) who believe that the royal family are actually lizards and that the world is controlled by a shadowy world government. If you are going to come on here and spout some ludicrous theories then of course people are going to laugh in your face. Most posters on here tried debating with you at first but when it became clear that those were your honestly held beliefs then it becomes rather pointless. I expect most posters just read some of the more nonsensical theories on here, shake their head and then move on without replying because there is little value to be gained from debating with mad men. There are some oddballs on here but in general people are sane and can see ridiculous conspiracy theories for what they are. Over there they may be more accepting, but that's largely because they tend to accept the most mental of comments and dismiss anything simple or straightforward. It is a conspiracy theory website after all so that's sort of its job.
  8. It isn't though because if you say something they disagree with they will accuse you of watching too much BBC television and being a "sheeple" who has been brainwashed by the mainstream media which consists of lizard people at the head of a world government pulling the strings. It's utter madness to any half sane individual.
  9. The fact you take those loons seriously says a lot.
  10. Everyone in Kenya knows saints now because of wanyana. They have no money to spend though
  11. I find it incredible that in this day and age a plane can just vanish.
  12. So is that the criteria then. If I were good enough, would it be acceptable for me to spend a quarter of my life in Spain and then decide I want to play for their national team just because? Doesn't seem right.
  13. Not sure how you come to that conclusion based in me giving my opinion.
  14. What is the cutoff point then? Who makes the rules?
  15. i) nothing wrong with going mad over mo farahs achievements. I'm a fan of him myself and the dedication to his sport. I also met him quite a few years ago and he was an extremely friendly man. What I find a bit odd is people talking about breaking British records when if we were using that criteria if any of the top Kenyan runners had moved to Britain at a young age they too would be British despite these individuals clearly having a biological advantage over those who are born here and native to the united Kingdom. Additionally, I don't really understand the mindset of someone who would not want to represent the country of their birth in sport but I admit that is a personal opinion. The fact you decide to bring skin colour into it is typical of someone like you and says more about you than it does me. ii) of course that is the case but don't try and pretend that the reason mo farah is a world beater isn't primarily due to his biology and his genetics. It's a similar reason why the vast majority of long distance runners are African, why most sprinters are black and why black people are normally not that strong at swimming. It is my belief that mo would have found success regardless of what developed country he had moved to at a young age. In general I feel slightly uncomfortable about someone moving to Britain and then Britain claiming their sporting achievements and I would feel that way regardless of skin colour or race. To me, a British person in a sporting sense is someone with a British mother or father, not someone with a tenuous link or someone whose family moved here. It's why I wasn't a huge fan of bussing in a load of other athletes from places like America during the Olympics and why I would object to that Chinese skater who decided to skate for Russia recently because he wasn't feeling supported at home. It's clear you are trying to create some sort of racial undertone in my post but it just makes you look sad and pathetic as per usual. Your insults are par for the course and I can only hope you will be found out for the WUM that you are and swiftly removed from the forum. Possibly a forlorn hope but we can dream. And I'm not your pal.
  16. As usual you contribute nothing and live a pointless forum existence. Debate the topics like a semi intelligent individual (as difficult as I know that is for you) or remove yourself from the thread.
  17. Despite largely agreeing with you, I did find it amusing how people go mad over mo farahs running times. Of course he is going to get times that are vastly superior to the average British bloke because physically he is so different.
  18. But using that logic why did anyone bother to support mo farah?
  19. Ralph had a very well received (and quite cheesy) speech yesterday for the staff where he talked about the love katherina and her father has for the club. He also said he would be trying his very best to keep players here.
  20. I think he will ultimately prove to be more defensively solid than shaw and could therefore be more important to us in the long run. Shaw will always command the higher fee and be more coveted because he can do the eye catching stuff so well.
  21. My hope is that Chambers eventually moves to CB and then we can fit them both in the team. I would love to eventually see: Boruc Clyne Chambers Lovren Shaw As our defence. Possibly with a new keeper but we would be fairly solid there.
  22. Towards the end of the season they have three games against teams around them. If they lose a couple of them then they will really be in trouble.
  23. Get in. I've been campaigning for the fans forum for years.
  24. Saw this on the telly this morning: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/news/chesney-hawkes-leads-air-guitar-record-attempt-to-raise-cash-for-theatre-1-5936160 Will this prompt the largest crowd at Fratton this season? They will certainly be the most entertained.
  25. A lot of movement today. Must be getting rid of the deadwood. I doubt we will be keeping a load of players rotting in the reserves going forward.
