My target (and I believe your target if I remember correctly) was survival this year. It looks like we will be achieving that so it appears we did enough for the defence to achieve the target we both wanted.

I note that he said he can't make any long term promises. Unless they can get enough players through to make a decent profit and keep it going then they will close it in a few years IMO. It simply isn't sustainable.

Exactly. When man conquered Everest they said it couldn't be done. Negativity on here has been shown to have a direct effect on performances.

They can't invest in a credible youth system. It would cost too much money to get a high enough category. In a few years they will end up abandoning it I expect.

I think it's pretty idiotic to let people know who you are on here considering what has happened to some people offline (Keith as one example had his phoneline cut and his lock glued). At the very least it is reckless though some people don't mind taking the risk. I don't think it's worth insulting or dismissing someone just because they wish to remain anonymous on here though. It's perfectly understandable.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to reveal their true identities on an internet forum, particularly with some of the posters on here (and of course the real-life criminal damage that Keith received at his home address). I fail to see how spouting nonsense and giving everyone your real name is a good thing. Courageous? Idiotic more like. The people who matter on here know who I am anyway and I don't make any attempt to hide my identity in real-life. I've met quite a few who are on here.
