It's completely different. The NPC s a totally different competition to the premiership for a start. I was always pleased that we have got to the Premiership but of course it isn't the same as winning the Prem. We won't go down in football history for getting promotion.

Nope he achieved more than Henman. That doesn't really matter though. If he continues to fail to win a grand slam then he will continue to be thought of as a loser. Quite right too.

Winning a grand slam is what matters. Do you think that Federer calls it a good tournament if he loses a grand slam final? Of course not, he calls it a disastrous tournament because the man is a winner. When Murray won the semi everyone acted as if he had won the tournament already. He hadn't.

If he loses that is totally irrelevant.

Not a shame if that is the case (as I said though still some way to go.) Federer is a legend. Murray will continue to be a loser and a heroic runner up.
