I don't understand you here at all. I haven't heard if it was true or not but I'm not going to start dismissing what he said as ****** just because it was potentially libelous. Particularly as he has got things right in the past.

Yep. On here I would say 2 posters have a quite obvious anti Cortese thing going on. Everyone else varies from thinking he is the greatest thing ever to having a few concerns. Thankfully some of those concerns have disappeared for me today following this interview.

What difference would it make?

I have done that twice, and the last time I did it I qualified it by saying I realised that people like you would be coming out of the woodwork to jump down my throat. Believe it or not I do sometimes hear things from people outside of this forum which I don't always post. If someone subsequently does post it then I am perfectly entitled to say that is what I have heard as well. Now please lets discuss the obvious positives of this interview and not go off topic talking about my hate for Cortese which doesn't exist.

Discussing whether NC is lying is a particularly silly topic of conversation IMO. I think that in general people are encouraged that he has finally spoken out to set the record straight on a few things. As I said previously, I am most encouraged that he believes failure to communicate has caused him some problems in the past and I think this interview was done to rectify that a bit.

Which is precisely why there is no discussing things with you DD because you cannot accept that posters are able to hold a perfectly valid view which differs from your own.

No I don't think we should have a go at posters with a more negative opinion. Everyone looks at things in a different way. It is the likes of saint mears who in this case I believe has been extremely harsh in his assessment of Cortese. That is not to say that we should label all people who have a more negative outlook with regards to Cortese as idiots or fools.

About one maybe 2 people have. Every single other person has said it was positive so no this place is not ridiculous although a small minority are.

It's the lack of communication which has previously caused problems for me. Going by the interview it is something which Cortese admits to so I'm hoping lessons have been learnt! Encouraged by the interview though.
