I think you are mostly right, masked by the poor start to the season. I wouldnt say Roerslev was a decent buy and Jellert- whilst a loan- was a bit of a waste given we decided to bin Bree off for half a season.

Worth saying that I wanted us to sign the Sunderland keeper. Fair play to the club for going with this guy who was less well known but probably a better option. Credit where credit is due.

Saints won with their best result of the season. I'll be honest I had reservations about this game. We never get up for ones like this .

The manner of a penalty can definitely make things feel worse even if the outcome is the same. When panenka is save dot normally looks like a pathetic attempt. At least if you blast it over the bar it looks like a proper attempt to score most of the time.

He's been my biggest disappointment this year given he was the player I was most excited about signing. It's not his fault though that we absolutely fucked up his start to the season by playing him out of position. I expect that messed with his confidence a bit.
