Some of the more extreme factions espouse certain policies that would align with some tenets of socialism but I agree though that making broad brush statements are mad. You do get some on the left calling everyone to the right of them nazis which is equally ridiculous. Something like this today from someone on the right is both funny and sad, mostly because I doubt he really believes this. Social media really is a cancer.

I actually agree with you. Under Poch we had an actual playing youth philosophy where we would regularly throw youngsters into games of consequence. We clearly don't have that this year but I would argue that the stakes are currently too high to risk it. We have to get promoted this year and that means playing our best players as regularly as possible. Expect to see plenty of youngsters next year should we fail to get promoted. If some players feel they have to leave due to our stance this year then that's the consequence of relegation and our current situation I'm afraid the same consequence that lost us the likes of JWP and ABK in the summer.

The fact is we have huge polarisation in America between people on the right and left to a much greater degree than you get in this country. Hence you get some mad statements from both extremes about how it's the end of America if either group gets in over the other. Social media is the most likely cause for me.

See what I mean you've even got someone here thinking it's going to happen. You had commentators last time he got in saying similar things and saying it was going to be Armageddon. Guess what, he said a load of stupid stuff and nothing of consequence happened. If trump gets in this time he won't even be allowed on the ballot in four years.

Whilst that is true, you can hardly say the other side aren't guilty of the same thing. You've even had people on here suggesting that Trump is going to end democracy and become a dictator if he gets back in.

I don't think so. I'm much more interested in policies and ideas over skin colour. It would really get under the skin of those who do care about that sort of thing though. I've seen people say things like she isn't really black which is utterly hilarious. No politician is great at the moment to be fair but what she claims are her priorities are some things I care about. I'd prefer not to vote Conservative but I'm prepared to give her a chance in the future although with mainstream politics it's always best to prepare for disappointment.

Challenging the use of the phrase "her penis" doesn't make me confused in the slightest anymore than questioning if someone pointed at a tree and called it a camel. Presumably you'd then accuse me of getting all hung up on nouns. My point had nothing to do with equating so called trans people with sex offenders, it was the idea that someone can have a penis and be a woman. Although it is interesting that whilst it is completely untrue to say that all trans people are perverted weirdos, a statistically significant number of perverted weirdos do claim to be trans.
