  1. TBF prior to this summer we had a load of players who were proven to be mediocre. At least with this there's a chance that this will change.
  2. I'd take hodson odoi and possibly aribo if they are available.
  3. So if lavia is done it's only really attacking midfield and strikers that we really need. Anything else is a nice bonus.
  4. One of the kits is khaki and black but I think you already know that.
  5. Similar to this I reckon.
  6. How does everyone feel?
  7. Why? Where's the evidence that it would be a waste? Swansea fans reckon he's class and could easily make the step up.
  8. Also for 8-10 million would be a relative bargain.
  9. I really don't think we'll be getting in two cm or wide men. Realistically I'll go with one romeu competition, one winger, one number 10 behind the striker and a striker (two maybe if we get rid of Armstrong.) So maybe 3 or 4 more players.
  10. I don't see how it's a worry at this stage. We are obviously going to bring in a striker and possibly two.
  11. Seems some posters don't understand. He has a weakness with man management and he needs support in that area but he's got a lot of good points as well. On balance the belief is that the positives outweigh the negatives. Its not a case of a manager showing some deficiencies so you just chuck him away.
  12. I think he needs a top quality backroom team to support him in the areas he isn't so strong at. Hence the changes this summer. My personal opinion is that they've been persuaded that on balance he's worth persisting with with proper support but I don't think he will be around for long if we start the season poorly.
  13. Exactly and that would go some way to explain why we go through these long periods in ruts where we perform poorly. It's an attitude thing more than ability.
  14. Good to see a number of people confirming what I had heard. Its not just the players being spoilt brats, Ralph needs to work on his man management skills. I was also told that we really messed up when we lost his assistant who used to do that role and then didn't replace him with someone similar.
  15. Think what you want.
  16. I was told that it was notable that Ralph's man management is not the best and he hasn't endeared himself to a number of players. Possibly that's why Broja wasn't up for staying. Personally I trust the person who told me and I don't think it's just the same as the other managers you mentioned.
  17. From what I ws told, with Ralph you're either in favour or put of favour and if you're out there isn't much in the way of communication to explain things.
  18. Are you vouching for Steven Belbin then?
  19. Dunno. I based my message on the person telling me who said it would be released at some point probably in the next couple of weeks and that was two weeks ago.
  20. That would be insanely good to get that for him.
  21. They probably got the info about it being released this week from me.
  22. It's got nothing to do with education. Often the headlines decline to mention any details beyond the surname of a player. Unless your suggesting that I should be aware of every single player who may possibly have signed for every major men and women's team in the country, I don't see how I could be better informed. Besides, a number of people have now said the same thing has happened to them (and it didn't used to happen a few years ago) so it's clearly not just something unique to me.
  23. The point is that fairly frequently it is impossible to distinguish it from the mens football because they are worded in an ambiguous fashion so you end up wasting time clicking on it and reading it. I'd rather they didn't do that but I suspect they do it in order to trick people into clicking on the articles.
  24. No! Only player I heard about was Svanberg.
