  1. It doesn't exist. Nice to have a report that confirms what the vast majority already know.
  2. We're clearly a better team with ings and Theo in the side. I hope we get them back for the cup.
  3. It's not discussing that happening this season. What it's asking is if you value winning a trophy more than you value participation in the Premier league.
  4. Exactly! It devalues the struggle and the graft of our promotion teams to simply be content to just sit in the prem and win nothing. I thought that winning something was the ultimate goal for every football fan but clearly for some they are content to finish mid table in the prem every year. I find that incredible.
  5. See I just read this and can't help but feel sad. This isn't intended to come across as offensive, but I have absolutely nothing in common with fans who would prefer guaranteed premier league income over winning a trophy. I just cannot relate to that mindset and I really struggle to understand it. That's never been why I watch football.
  6. I hope we bring out a special commemorative shirt in a couple of years to celebrate our decade participating in the Premier League. Few clubs can participate like we can.
  7. That's quite an interesting post. I have quite an interest in a number of documentaries and I have seen some on serial killers. I did however read a book from John Douglas about the BTK killer and it went into such a level of detail that it turned my stomach and I still think about it now. I understand that his job involved looking at this stuff in that sort of level but I just thought it was unnecessary to convey the points he was making.
  8. We haven't won the net spend trophy for a few seasons now. I want to see us reclaim what is rightfully ours.
  9. Everyone knows he is leaving, it's not disappointing. What we need to do is focus on getting a decent replacement.
  10. So whilst there continues to be a financial risk attached to relegation you would favour continuing in the premier league and not winning anything forever over winning something and getting relegated? That's why I think that your view is mental. You could go the rest of your life and never see your football team win anything but you'd prefer that than them winning something and getting relegated. Mad.
  11. And my question is would this still be your stance in a decade? What about if we spent another 20 straight years in the prem from now but still didn't win anything? Is there any scenario where you would view winning trophy as more important than continuing in the league?
  12. I'm a lot more confident than I would have been had we got City, Chelsea or United. I think realistically we would have very little chance in a final against City but to get there would be amazing.
  13. No one has questioned your desire for us to win a trophy, just your pretty strange view that staying in the premier league is preferable to winning a trophy. Would you have a time limit on it? Is there any point in the next decade that you would prefer winning something even if it resulted in relegation? If your answer is no then really what's the point of watching football and supporting a team? For some fans it feels like a perpetual mid table existence in the Premier league is what they want and IMO that's bizarre. Valuing your premier league place over winning a trophy is IMO mostly the preserve of modern football fans.
  14. Nutter is an incredibly mild insult! I'm sorry I will never understand the mindset of someone who would prefer an existence in the prem in perpetuity, winning nothing and finishing lower mid table or worse every season than actually winning something even if we get relegated.
  15. I would. You're a nutter in my opinion. We will get relegated at some point anyway so might as well have something to show for it.
  16. I reckon it's because people know he's capable of more. Someone like Jack Stephens is not great but also I'm not convinced he's playing below what he's capable of. Can't say the same for Redmond most of the time.
  17. Really odd some people pretending that Redmond hasn't been largely crap for a number of seasons now. It's great he's doing well today and long may it continue but it doesn't invalidate previous dire performances.
  18. This was the game where I have started to lose some faith in Ralph.
  19. We've done nothing since going behind. It's now a major problem that Ralph can seemingly do nothing to influence a game in that scenario.
  20. I called this game from the moment Brighton got their second. Utterly predictable and depressing.
  21. Awful. We should scrape another 4 points to stay up but I fear for next season.
  22. We have looked absolutely shit so far.
  23. If I'm honest I think it's going to be a draw. I'd love a win so we can enjoy the rest of the season and play a few youngsters etc. But with our poor form I think a draw is most likely. I hope ratboy doesn't play well.
  24. I think everyone realises that Ings is off in the summer.
  25. Jermaine Wright
