  1. Cheers ill check it out.
  2. I had a think about it the other day and I realised that almost every comedy I enjoy came out years ago. Blackadder, Alan partridge, Red dwarf, brass Eye, the office, father Ted, fawlty towers, even middle of the road stuff like coupling, the Royle family and early seasons of my family raised a smile. Maybe I'm just getting old but I haven't seen much at all in the last decade coming out of the UK apart from peep show and that started in 2003. Maybe we are just too worried now about proper representation or cultural sensitivity rather than making something that's actually amusing. I should add I thought fleabag was well done but it wasn't funny in the slightest.
  3. I just watched the mandalorian finale. Brilliant TV directed by taiki watiti or however you spell it. Highly recommended.
  4. Cheers. Like I said, I doubt it's all true and I can't see us getting more than a rb in January, but always interesting to speculate.
  5. He's obviously going to sell soonish assuming we stay up. Just have to pray it's not to a crook.
  6. OK he's a little rumour from a source I have. Likely to be wrong but we all like a good rumour. So our interests apparently are in a cb we wanted in the summer but we wouldn't part with the cash, a striker banging them in in France (maybe for Lillie? Source couldn't remember.) and a rb. Apparently villa also after the striker, also told the Chinese bloke wants to sell and red bull have been sniffing around along with an American consortium.
  7. I've literally never watched a minute of it. My mum likes it which is normally a good barometer for what isn't funny. She loved the miranda Hart show for example and that's the least funny thing that's ever been on TV.
  8. Also good to see us doing well with so many British players. Mccarthy, Bertrand, Stephens, redmond, jwp, Armstrong, obafemi, ings and Adams.
  9. Yep. For those criticising posters on here for saying that villa were rubbish last time out, here is an example of us just playing really well and being the better team.
  10. Stand by this. Getting rid of Ralph would have solved nothing. Glad to see him forming a cohesive unit out of some of these players who really aren't very good. The best news is should we stay up, we have a good chance to make the team better through about three shrewd acquisitions. Decent rb, cb and cm and we will be on the way to a pretty decent team.
  11. Finally a result where we play well for the full game. Something to be proud of and gives real faith that we can kick on and pick up more points.
  12. Andrew Doyle is great. He's also doing a tour with Douglas Murray next year. I've got tickets for when they go to Bournemouth which should be great.
  13. He's alright backup but he's never a premier league starter.
  14. Happy Christmas all, especially soggy. I'm sure we could have a pint in real life and a discussion about saints even if we disagree about virtually everything else.
  15. Yes that's exactly what happened wasn't it. You're deluded if you seriously think that was reality.
  16. Do you think that Tory voters were a lot more greedy and selfish at this election given how many more voted Conservative than previous elections? Or do you think it was less black and white than that?
  17. You mean Ash "literally a communist" Sarkar and Owen "will suck **** for Socialism" Jones? But you know at least they aren't heartless monsters like all those people who voted Tory so there's that.
  18. Probably more. Without the iPhone they wouldn't be able to virtue signal to the twittersphere.
  19. Are Blackburn that average? They are in great form at the moment.
  20. Because you're symptomatic of the type of people on the left who demonise people as voting Tory simply because they didn't want to pay a little bit extra to help the poor. Weirdo.
  21. If you think that was what the election boiled down to then no wonder Labour lost so spectacularly.
  22. You can imagine whatever you like. Doesn't make any of it true outside your own head though.
  23. I never thought we would be better off economically.
  24. I thought it was total cr*p but life's full of opinions I suppose.
