  1. Well no. Some people know friends and family members who actually have information about Cortese and what he was like. Nothing to do with some crummy club pr.
  2. We always knew it wasn't going to last forever. I said to my mates when we went to the San siro that we won't be seeing somethibg similar any time soon and to enjoy it while we can. I have to admit I didn't see it falling apart this quickly though but that's what getting complacent without much cash in the prem will do to you.
  3. Thanks that's helpful. Does sound like someone we need then. Won't be much good though if we fail to sign anyone with pace.
  4. Sounds like a Heskey type.
  5. . Superb. Give that man a standing ovation!
  6. Almost poetic. Definitely sickening. Relegation looms.
  7. (In before soggy)
  8. Club policy is we don't talk about players but we all know that the telegraph article was the club speaking.
  9. It was in the Times from our pet journo wasnt it?
  10. Thanks a lot CB Fry. I had hope but this thread and your songs have destroyed it all. I heard Walcott had his hand hovering over his new saints contract and then someone sang your song at him and he immediately tore it up and rang Fat Sam. I hope you're happy.
  11. Yep. Mark this down as a Toby style f*ck up.
  12. I'm not too worried about missing out on Walcott but I am worried that we may have put all our eggs in one basket again like we have done in the past. Will be very interesting to see who we do actually end up with considering that Walcott seemed to be our first choice.
  13. Hojbjerg or Austin if we had to pick now. I don't think anyone else has played particularly well with the exception of Lemina before his injury.
  14. No I didn't.
  15. Basically got rid of all our good coaches for dome unknown reason and replaced them with others.
  16. Both equally interminable? As I don't post on any other saints related site, mercifully I don't have to read what he has to say over there and he's restricted to three posts a day over here so on second thoughts maybe it's better here.
  17. Not sure why the price is relevant, it could be a very canny signing. Doubt it will change much at the moment though if we keep with the tactics we have right now.
  18. Very poor defence for me. New rb and cb needed and we could probably keep jwp instead of Davis.
  19. I'm surprised you feel the onus is on the fans to deny the evidence in front of their faces rather than the board to actually do something to give us some hope.
  20. I'd be surprised if they hadn't done that at this point.
  21. Agreed. Any protest will be spontaneous and most likely when we are rooted to the bottom.
  22. I'm not saying he would have us playing good football but someone like him who could give the players the kick up the a*se they need would have them further up the table.
  23. I'm not saying the players don't have some culpability, just that we wouldn't be getting as bad results with a difference manager. Does anyone seriously think we would be where we are if we had say big Sam in charge?
  24. "The last four games the team is growing. Playing in this way it’s easy for everybody because I’m sure we’ll win games." That's an utterly astounding comment from the manager. The team has been growing the last four games??? Has to go. Please!
  25. This team is miles too good to be in the position we are in. It's a completely false position abd is down to this manager who is nowhere near getting the best out of us.
